A beautiful place to visit and stay.
The castle has so much history and charm with home to Anne Boleyn and husband Henry VIII.We especially loved the moat with ducks and swans gracefully gliding through the water.
The Castle grounds are stunning with so many different areas to explore, the Italian garden was waiting to bud and bloom, the animal topiary was a delight.
Our overnight stay in one of the Astor rooms was comfortable and quiet.
    Breakfast was charming with friendly
attentive staff and amazing food all cooked to order.
    Highly recommend

Very interesting and well presented, especially the models and the trench reconstruction. Shame we didn't have the time to do it justice!

We went to see Ronnie Scott's All Stars. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening but I was sad that there were very few well known songs played. Also Hever is a place to have a picnic before the performance. They didn't have one bin for any rubbish. I spoke to a member of staff about this and she said it was because they didn't want to deal with the rubbish so they asked everyone just to take it home with them.

After a lovely visit to Hever Castle with my wife we decided to find somewhere else to eat for lunch as the cafe in the grounds was very busy. We came across the Golf and Well-being club on our way out just a couple of minutes drive from the castle. We found it was open to non members. We sat outside on a decked area over looking a pond watching a family of ducks with their ducklings.
We ordered burgers, fries and a side order of onion rings. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious.
A lovely quiet lunch in the sunshine.

The treatment (facial) was divine but the spa was disappointing. Steam room out of action. Salt room was naff, not sure what it was meant to benefit. Sauna was ok but not that hot, we only started sweating after 20 minutes.
Then we showered before we got into the jacuzzi.... oh dear the jacuzzi was filthy with brown scum on the top from previous occupants who obviously had not showered. There is no hand rail to get into jacuzzi, I think health and safety inspection would close this down. It was difficult to get down into jacuzzi with nothing to hold onto. Anyone with mobility problems would struggle even more 😩

I also hung my towel on the coat stand next to a heater, the towel and robe covered an electric heater.... surely this is a fire hazard?!!

It was a bit cold and draughty in the treatment room which was in a wooden shed outside. The facial treatment was very good though and the staff member tried very hard and was sweet.
