What travelers are saying
- Cherry N10 contributionsThis is a beautiful cathedral. There's a wonderful feeling of space inside and it's beautifully lit. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable and there are various tours on offer. We did the free floor tour offered with the admission price and we also paid for the roof top tour. Both tours were excellent! The roof top tour takes you up inside the cathedral and you can step outside (it's safe) and have a wonderful view of the cathedral roof and ornamentation, look down on the Castle and the surrounding countryside - except it was overcast! as well as being able to see along the nave from the west window. The guides are very informative and very considerate. The Cathedral is well kept and the facilities are good.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David R1 contributionExcellent attraction. Took your led by Laura, who was informative, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history of the castle. The wall walk was good and the old Lincoln prison was well worth the visit.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Charli CLincoln, UK5 contributionsThis museum is a little gem! I cannot believe it is free when there is so much to see. - Steve L6 contributionsWe love this place, being totally honest as we have a dog and they are allowed in the cafe ( free dog biscuits to ) it is dog friendly although they aren’t allowed in the auditorium . If you are interested in the history of bomber command there is no better place . It sits on a site overlooking Lincoln with the cathedral in view across the city. It is also a moving testament to all this who served and those who gave their lives so we have had our freedom.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - maxNorthampton, UK20 contributionsChallenging but worth it. It’s quite intimidating when you first see the full gradient but take your time, look at & in the shops & the Cathedral & the castle at the top are your prize.Written February 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LincolnRedimplincoln78 contributionsVisited today to the restaurant for brunch as my wife birthday
My fault but we missed the cut off time
Spoke to Amy H , told her I was in trouble 😡
I asked for a table for lunch a little later
We returned in 45 minutes to be greeted and shown to a reserved table set for lunch
Staff were brilliant
Food was plentiful and excellent quality
Thanks Amy, think you saved the day

- Iain C3 contributionsLast minute booking for a caravan. Met with a family smile, pitched up on a level fully serviced pitch. Very Clean facilities, showers spot on. Great place for a stay. There’s a bar come restraint on site, did have chance to use it this time but we will be going again. There’s a little noice from the railway but not an issue. We were also treated to the red arrows practising for the 2024 season.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PipLincoln, UK13 contributionsI had an excellent visit, the staff were very knowledgeable about the exhibits. I'd recommend it if you're in the area to go and have a look for yourself. There are also tables to have a picnic, plus a small shop that sells snacks and drinks.Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sophia M5 contributionsCame here yesterday with my 5&7 year old. It rained most of the morning so we did the soft play, the Easter themed show/activity and the build a bear activity. The indoor soft play is relatively big (not as big as some as we have been to however I feel this is more of an outdoor oriented site) the kids still enjoyed the soft play for an hour or so. There is also an air cannon room where the kids can shoot foam balls and have a ‘battle’.
The Easter themed show/activity is amazing, you can tell the amount of work that has gone into this- the tunnels even smell of chocolate! Without spoiling it, it consists of multiple rooms which contain lots of singing and dancing and an Easter egg which they can pick from around 5-6 different choices at the end!
The actors are friendly, outfits are outstanding and they look great! The build a bear aspect of the Easter activities was enjoyable, the kids could choose a bear then stuffed it and had a certificate written for them at the end, they could also choose an outfit for an additional £11- a little pricey so we just stuck with the bear each.
Once the sun came out we had chance to explore outside and the farm, outside had multiple different activities to do- go karts, huge play structures, trampolines, swings, roundabouts it had it all! It was very boggy in places as expected with all the rain we have had so wear wellies. The kids throughly enjoyed the trampolines and the tyre swing/roundabout.
On the farm the animals are kept in immaculate conditions, they look well looked after and cared for it is evident they are very loved by staff who are enthusiastic and love their job. We got to hold chicks and rabbits but there was so much other things we could do on the farm such as watching the cows getting milked and bottle feeding the lambs.
There is also a free tractor ride and some ride on tractors which were a £1 each (coins required)
Food and drink options- there was a picnic area- indoors and also a small cafe offering a few meals. We didn’t go into the gift shop so I’m unable to comment on this.
Overall an absolutely fantastic day out with plenty to do come rain or shine and absolutely fantastic value for money. We have even spoken about getting annual passes!Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The paths have been cleared but sadly there are many fallen trees at the side. Hopefully these will be cleared and taken away before the good weather arrives.Written January 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
