What travelers are saying
- RachKCardiff, UK219 contributionsIncredibly friendly and helpful service from Stefano who runs this lovely family business. He responded promptly on WhatsApp when we had a question the night before we wanted to go to his beach. In person he was an absolute delight. We had a super spot and even a cappuccino from Stefano. He treated us like a member of his family- and indeed we enjoyed a drink with some family and friends later in the day to celebrate a birthday! Such a brilliant guy. Would recommend! (Especially as we had a very mediocre experience at a nearby Bagno a few days earlier). Also a 10% discount for the restaurant out front. Perfect.Written September 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- dilly476Cambridgeshire, UK169 contributionsWe didn't have a particular bagno in mind, we just wanted a few hours by the sea and thought Amadea looked nice from the outside so gave it a try and were very pleased we did. We arrived at lunchtime so sat in the small peaceful garden area and enjoyed a very tasty seafood risotto and wine, before hiring a couple of sunbeds by the sea. They were a bit pricey and you couldn't choose a particular bed as so many were rented out for the season but the beds we were given were fine and the beach area was nice and clean as was the sea and also the toilets. There was also a bar so we had everything we needed until unfortunately our sunbathing was cut short by heavy rain! Amadea is right on the promenade which was very pretty and unique and the train station was an easy walk. I look forward to a Viareggio beach trip again one day and wouldn't hesitate to visit Bagno Amadea again while I'm there.Written January 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - spencerstephen27Coventry, UK406 contributionsMost of the restaurants along the Viareggio stretch offer the same food, nothing really exciting, we are not picking on this restauarnt but its the last one we actually ate in.

Would recommend.Written July 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The sculpture depicts a family anxiously awaiting the return of a ship and because it faces the sea, rather than the pier, most of the family is not visible. However, the sculpture is supposed to embody hope and it does that amply from it's rocky perch next to the pier.Written April 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
