- Harry GBasel, Switzerland139 contributionsThe Val Genova is really a must for each Visitors of the region. I was deep impressed by this beauty of the whole Valle, fascinating nature. Myself was there on a E.Bike drive and can recommend it.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johnsmith1410Milan, Italy195 contributionsBeautiful and relatively easy trail (but steep stairs which may be wet, so not for elderly, nor for unfit - and children should be supervised) in the woods along an incredible series of waterfalls. Strongly suggest to take the steps on the way back, not only for managing fatigue, but also because you will enjoy a better view of the waterfalls from above!). Perfect to visit in mid summer, when you'll appreciate the fresh misty breeze if the waterfalks the most! A couple of lodges for food (good!) and accomodation are available on the trail.Written March 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony LNevada City, CA8 contributionsThis was the best of 8 Refuigios we hiked to. The people, food, beds, and location all were top-form. A sauna with the lake 100' feet away. Soft sheets, good bed (no lumps or chasm where a 400 lb person slept). OMG, the food! Like we were at the best restaurant in a big town, not a tiny place on a lake in the mountains. I had to stand and applaud the chefs.Written December 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brenda PLeague City, TX9 contributionsOk so this his day three of my hikes. I wanted a easy hike but still with great views.
I started by taking the the 5 laghi gondola. Once offi took trail 34 or 232 to lago Ritorto. Lots of cables on this route I guess to impress wish they would have use them on my tire laghi hike
From the lake you an continue on 232 up to the 5 laghi it looke d like about a 4 to 5 hour route back by lago Namibino. It is rated black but did not look that technical just a good hike up which I was not in too.
Inthen looked at route 278 but it was rated a EE and also looked up. I choose to take route 277 and 278d to a little farm called Malta valchestria. Below the farm back to the left is a trail that is not numbered but well marked that I took to Malaga Ritort This is a very long trail but extremely peaceful and easy. You will find lots of cows. They are friendly and easily walked by. At Malaga try the local beer and cheese at the farm pass on the city restaurant . From here you an take a little train to Patacross or walk. I walked and from Patacross you Alan take the ski run behind the restaurant into town. Roughly 9 miles all down hill 5 hours.Written August 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A lot of tables outside, so you can enjoy those views when weather is good. Food was superb – more refined than other refugios. Also wine selection is good. We really enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend.Written July 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Steve DSeattle, WA189 contributionsWe took the Pradalago lift up from Madonna di Campiglio, a quick & beautiful 6-10 minute ride, got off at the top and enjoyed a lovely 90 minute hike through alpine meadows complete with stunning Dolomite views and a herd of cows with bells jangling. About halfway, the trail edges into the forest and begins to gently descend to its culmination at Lago delle Malghette. We encountered a wide range of hiker ages from youngsters with parents to a couple in their 80s; no one seemed to have any particular difficulty with the trail. The charming Refugio at the lake was the dessert after a fine meal: polite, efficient, friendly staff, a good menu, quick service, clean (and free) restrooms, tasty well prepared food, and all at water’s edge with great views of the emerald green lake.Written September 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jaoxi2015Hualien, Taiwan359 contributionsi suggest you the hike to rifugio segantini, you can park your car near rifugio cornisello an walk to nero lake then go on till rifugio segantini (2h and half) then come back or go on and make a ring.
You can also park (if you want walk around a ring) at the crossroad 2 km before cornisello and start walking on the left, you arrive at segantini then go on till nero lake and arrive to rifugio cornisello.Written March 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Requiring a reservation, this is a small room with an excellent view offering an all inclusive fixed menus. Our superb menu included several dishes featuring local cheese and superb yak steaks on top of cheesy polenta. Local sparkling wine flowed freely. The portions are unusually large for this type of (Michelin started) fare. We thought the prices to be reasonable for the quality and the experience which included professional and friendly service.Written January 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mid-KateLondon, UK448 contributionsShop located on the edge of pedestrian area on Madonna Di Campiglio. They have a good selection of salamis , cheese, and other products from the region. The proprietors were very nice and helped explain the various products. I came away with the ingredients to take home for a delicious Trentino-style meal.Written January 3, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
