Stunning location, right next to the slopes (winter) and hike trails (summer). It doesn't advertise much as a "family hotel" which, indeed, may not be their main focus group, however that doesn't mean you're treated any differently; the service and staff are impeccable. Breakfast and sweets in the afternoon are amazing and dinner is at yet another level; HEAVEN! Real good food, perfect portions (not too much) which I personally appreciate a lot. Swimming pool and sauna/spa area are simply beautiful and access is for free. Thanks to the amazing location, the staff, the service, the food and the facilities we've had an amazing 10-day holiday. One minor thing, but again, this is more of interest for families; the "game hall" for kids is very small, very warm (no air flow or anythings) and not very inviting. We found that, noting the perfect state of everything else in the hotel, they could put more efforts in it. On the other side, the small kids' play room was great. Big thanks to the entire staff for the perfect stay!

Directly on the ski and slidges slope, so you may put your ski or try your slidges right at the front of the hotel and enjoy the ride. Ski playground for kids right at the front of the hotel too. If you rent the ski in the main ski rental in Obereggen, the ski rental will bring the ski to the hotel's ski room, enough to give the Hotel name. Super new bar at the front of the slope makes relaxing moments even more relaxing. Nice outdoor and indoor pool for hotel guests. Good restaurant. Ask for the rooms in the newly added part of the hotel. Mostly fully booked therefore it is better to do the reservation a couple of months earlier. I will try to come next year again.

What a fantastic place to stay. I’ve been coming close to ten years and it feels like home. Wonderful management team (family own and run) and staff. They look after you! The hotel has a great kitchen- you are really spoiled. Dinners are a real treat. Their wine cellar is top notch and they know their wines. The hotel’s wellness center is first class. Great indoor and out door pool. The hotel is situated on a ski slope for easy access. The hotel is associated with a golf course )Petersburg Golf Club). Well worth a visit and stay. Super relaxing.

We had a wonderful February week in the Cristal Suite (very suitable for 4 - 5 persons), and enjoyed the very warm and kind atmosphere linked to the devoted owning family Thaler and their wonderful staff. The quality of rooms and different amenities were superb. The quality of the kitchen is to my experience (having travelled the alps for almost 40 years) second to none! A "must" for any lover of skiing resorts!

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. Since last time a new part was built and capacity of the hotel was largely extended which makes this hotel has become a really big and less "gemütlich" hotel. The facilities are very clean, swimming pool, fitness are great; very spacious and modern. However, we had a room in the older building with outdated furniture but at a high price. Food in the restaurant is excellent, staff is friendly but you feel they need to serve a lot of guests which makes the atmosphere less relaxed and more hectic. In the resto you'd better sit in the older or middle part but not in the newest part because there you feel like sitting in a cafetaria-like area with big (and noisy) tables. When going to this hotel, you'd better opt for a room in the newest part as then the price-quality will be more balanced.

I have just returned from a fantastically relaxing 10 day holiday in the Dolomites - South Tyrol - which is the most northern part of Italy. The hotel Cristal is an outstanding place to visit between December and April to go skiing or between the months of June and September for hiking. I've been to the hotel during both seasons and would highly recommend it. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It's right next to a huge and uninhibited forrest and mountain area. In the winter you can literally ski in and out of the hotel and down the hill to a lift that connects you with a vast skiing area. In summer you can set off for long hikes - from easy to hard - right from the hotel entrance. Another good reason to visit is the hotels proximity (20 min by car) from a very nice golf course. What makes the hotel truly special however is the family that actively runs it with the help of its friendly staff. I've never felt more welcome or looked after. The food is excellent and by itself a very good reason to visit the hotel Cristal. Each evening a superb 5 or 6 course meal awaits you as well as a great selection of wines - most of which are regional and Italian as you would expect. The pool, spa and gym areas are worth a mention too - they are top notch. The hotel is best reached by car. Alternatively you can fly to Innsbruck or Verona. The hotel can assist you in arranging the travel from and to the airport. Would I recommend this hotel to a good friend - absolutely !

We spent 3 nights of our skiing vacation in the Hotel Central and enjoyed every minute. Sure, the hotel is not a bargain but I think the price is fair for what you get. Wellness / Spa area is huge and amazing, Service is good and friendly and we especially loved the breakfast buffet. Directly at the piste and sledge track so location could not be any better.

I've been in this location. Going thru the feedback i was more scheptical. I've been actually impressed by the room (suite on the new site) and services. Wine: extremely good selection! If i can suggest something... I would implement / refresh the play area. Plays is fine but atmosphere need to be refreshed as well. Anyway, Surely i'll go there again
