Booked this hotel through a travel agency because all the other resorts were fully booked. Stayed here with family and friends. 24 people to be exact. We were given 5 rooms. All rooms had air conditioning, though the power would fluctuate so the AC would suddenly die and the lights would get dimmer. We were still lucky that there weren't any power outages when we were there. The hotel had a generator prepared for power outages but the generator was located in front of the rooms so it would probably be buzzing with noise throughout the night. the walls were paper thin so you would be able to hear guests from the other room even if they were just talking, no need to shout :) the water from the shower was really salty. We even bought water for brushing our teeth. if a lot of people are using the showers at the same time, some rooms wouldn't get any water supply, so you'd have to wait for others to finish before being able to take a shower. there weren't any flush on the toilet. they didn't have any food that we could buy, so we had to buy chips and beers from the store outside the hotel. not white sand. they provided only about 5 chairs for our group when we would eat, so some would be eating inside the rooms or standing. they also didn't have any fans for the eating area, so you would get mosquito bites. though the islands we went to were really really beautiful, this hotel was like the complete opposite of the beaches in the area. it was really awful. No TV, no wifi. We couldn't even charge our phones properly because of the fluctuating electricity. I couldn't wait to get home and take a decent bath.

Room Tip: probably get the room on the end so you would only be bothered by the noise from one room.

My family stayed here in March 2013. It's a beachfront property but the beach is not white sand. You have to go on an island hopping tour for you to experience the best of Caramoan. Butler service was great. The tour was great, as well, back then it included meals. The owners were nice and accommodating. The only downside is that the power fluctuates in the entire area.

The owners are no longer based here and this resort is way past its glory. Where do i start? Firstly, there was not a person who could communicate properly with us. Secondly they didn't have a kitchen so we had to eat at the resort next door who gave priority to their guest first which is to be expected. From the photo's you see a bar which has become a reception area. Booked an island hopping trip but was told we need to arrange for our own food. I mean where do you expect tourist to arrange their own food on island trips? The boat was past it's shelf life and needs to be upgraded. There are no electricity on the island from 7am - 6pm so getting cold beers will be challenging. There were frequent brown outs which was not the resorts fault but having the generator where the rooms were gave us sleepless nights. We were caught out a few times not having water while in a shower due to the brownouts due to the pump not working. The people running the place now are genuinely kind & nice but needs alot of training on managing a B&B.

We stayed @ hazels beach resort last september 2013 , a group of 16 on arrival we were taken in groups to our accommodation it was a beautiful bamboo chalet with 2 large double beds with a shower & wc, after a long day island hopping in caramoan We returned to hazels and some of our group went to the market , then we went just down the road for our evening meal , then later that evening we were provided with music and a beach barbecue , the following morning we woke up and as we went back to the restaurant for our breakfast we we greeted with the most amazing sunrise , i highly recommend hazels beach resort ..

Stayed here for 1 night. The owner's and staff at the resort were very accommodating and very nice. The food was quite good. The rooms are very basic - two beds fill up the room, air con in the back corner of the room, basic fan on the wall behind the beds. Bathroom is very basic with no hot water. It is hostel style accommodation. The beach in front is not for lounging or swimming. It is quite close to the islands for island hopping. After one night we moved to Gota Village and because of "off season" we got much better accommodation there for basically the same price. If Gota is full price and you are on a budget then stay here. If the price is close, then stay at Gota.

We visited Caramoan just last Thursday to Saturday (3d/2n). We booked their tour package - accommodation, free transfer from Guijalo Port vv, full board meals & island hopping... all for only P2,750! We were really amazed how affordable their package is, no other resort in Caramoan can give all-in packages at such an affordable price. It was a bumpy ride from Sabang port but its all worth it! Our room is very clean, over-all ambiance is relaxing. All staff are very courteous & accommodating, especially Lloyd, Manang Vic & Kuya Arthur. They served very delicious meals, we were always full during our stay! Kudos to Hazel & Alex for being great hosts!

Me and my friends just recently went on a trip to Caramoan, CamSur. Although we didn't stay in Hazel's Beach Resort(they were fully booked!), we were able to try their pizza and it is really to die for! For only Php300, its very filling. We also ordered our packed lunch, good for 7 pax, for our island hopping... we ordered the laing and the grilled blue marlin. We had leftovers since they have big servings and they will give everything to you in a large plastic basket. The picnic basket consists of: plates and utensils good for the group and condiments for the food that you ordered. Everything was very convenient for us.

we stayed here for 3days and 2 nyts. and the long trip was very rewarding, caramoan is such a very beautiful place.with very beautiful and welcoming people. we also had the best accommodation in the area serving best tasting food (laing, bicol express, and marlin) and i also love their thin crust pizza. both hazel and alex are very accommodating as well as their staff especially Rudy. and the one who fetched us from/to the port & resort. we'll surely miss this place =)

stayed at hazel's for 3 days with our clan,we were 15 in our group and hazel personally made us feel at home.the rates and package hazel personally gave us was hard to beat.the staff was very accomodating and truly helpful and the place is cozy in a native sort of way since all of the building structure is made of rattan and native materials.really had a convenient location since if you've come from your day's island-hopping,you only have to walk a few meters from the beach to your room, not like if your accomodation is in town, you still have to take a 25-minute ride by service.food is good and plentiful, you wont feel you were shortchanged.would have been better if the rooms were sound-proofed so as not to disturb the other room occupants but over-all the experience at hazel's was relaxing and stress-free.
