In the heart of the historic center and tourist resources, close to the scenic ravine, opening the doors of hospitality, comfort and relaxation. The Bed & Breakfast Santa Marina, located in a historical context and landscape that intrigues, fascinates, welcomes and meets the expectations and dreams of every visitor, is characterized by homes that are built around the quarry "closeness" of Via Lo Pizzo tourist resources. The typical times, the color of the tuff, white walls, the alley that runs along the neighborhood and that leads to a terrace overlooking the ravine, make the B & B Santa Marina is a magical and evocative, all typical of Puglia, to relax .

We had the most awful experience ever with this owners of this establishment when we booked in April . No one there to meet us, which was the last day of our holiday. We were presented with a room, for our children which resembled a prison cell - no windows ! It was dingy and uninhabitable, I have never in all more years of travelling seen a room like it. Our little girl was too frightened to stay, we discussed this with the person, who arrived after leaving us waiting for 30 minutes, there was no way we could stay here, she called the owner and they said we would have to pay 30% of the rental as a penalty, we continued to argue and they then said we could leave without charge. Two later the people managed to access my credit card and took for full amount for the night. This added insult to injury and also a security issue that they could take my money, when previously stating we would not be charged.

Had a wonderful two day visit, Rubicon room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is served on a deck overlooking a valley; great breakfast selection. Free parking is available a few hundred metres away. Be aware on Sunday's almost all shops and restaurants may be closed. Host spoke French and Italian, and some English; she was excellent at sharing ideas on places and things to see.

Very nice and clean, big room. Modern furniture. Good warm blankets (plumeau). Centrally located. We were there with very cold weather and could not enjoy the nice terrace. But with warmer temperatures it must be great, with view on the canyon (gravina). The owner (Rosa) was very friendly. She offered a rich breakfast. And when I realised that I forgot my watch, she immediately responded when I texted her and kindly agreed to send me the watch back home to Germany. Really exceptional service.

If you happen to be in Massafra, this is a very good place to stay. In the very historic center, it's quiet, clean, modern and beautiful. The breakfast is very good and you can go to the cantine to try some wines in the evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at this lovely guesthouse! The accommodations are upscale and spacious, and the location is perfect for visiting Massafra by foot. But the standout asset of the Santa Marina B&B has to be the wonderful staff, who work as a friendly and professional team to ensure guests' comfort and well-being!

An excellent location with easy access, pleasant clean rooms and welcoming staff. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which looked as if it had been hewn from the rock face but it was equipped with modern quality fittings. When trying to find Santa Marina it is best to find Piazza Garibaldi, wait there and call them to guide you to the hotel.

We stayed here for 10 nights in the Primitivo suite. The whole apartment was beautifully fitted to a high standard and is very comfortable. The 2 hosts, Miriam and Donatella are first class and are friendly, and interested to talk with you. The cleaning everyday is immaculate. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of cold meats, cheese, pastries and lots of beautiful fresh fruit. Miriam and Donatella are attentive to your needs at breakfast and offer tea and coffee as required. We chose Massafra as a good base to visit around Puglia and found plenty to do.

it is a great place for a longer stay - the room was spacious and the seperate wardrobe with the shelving made it very comfortable. The apartment had all the mod-cons immaginable. And the decor, although a bit too romantic for me (I am more of the steel and cement persuasion), was very tasteful. Dolores prepared lovely breakfasts and he had some delicious cakes with our morning cappuccino. If you add a terrace with a view of the gravina and the sunshine, you will understand why we wanted to stay a bit longer. Considering what the Santa Marina offers I would say this b& b is a bargain....

Stayed at this venue in July 2014 during the Terra Rossa festival. Absolutely LOVED the property. Right in the centre of the piazza and all the action. Excellent rooms, spotless and a beautiful scent as you enter. Rooms serviced daily with beautiful crisp white Cotten sheets and the most wonderful fluffy towels. Breakfast was very tasteful, a combination of italian and English. The breakfast outdoor area has the most superb view of the graving and the castle. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The property is also now accommodating a family apartment so look forward to staying there again soon. Massafra is a wonderful city with a mix of the old and the new. Many walking trails, churches to see and markets to die for. The people in the town are so friendly and love a chat as they are very proud of their city. Bothe piazzas are a place to visit as there is always something to see and join in. Love the town, feels like home.
