Stayed in Benners Hotel with a hen party of 30, Hotel exceeded all expectations, staff was friendly , professional and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Dinner was delicious and I can honestly say that breakfast was one of the best hotels breakfasts I’ve ever had. I will definitely be booking in for my next stay in Dingle!

This really is a tale of 2 halves. Firstly having called in for coffee & a scone in the morning, I can definitely say their scones are just beautiful. Really homemade and delicate. I followed up a few days later for lunch. The menu is very limited to be honest. Definitely not the choice offered in other establishments locally. I ordered a toasted sandwich with fries, soup and tea. The toasted sandwich was nice, crispy and the fries were lovely. Nice side of coleslaw. Unfortunately the soup was cold. I sent it back and it returned but with no cutlery. Thankfully I "drank" the soup direct. The staff were polite and the place is lovely but the menu and the soup let it down. A little attention to detail and this could be better. Will return however.

Hotel did the job, but I'm not sure I'd come back. Restaurant was nice, food was good and staff was lovely, but the hotel room and bathroom were a little dated and fairly dirty. There were cobwebs on the ceiling that were covered in dust, and the floor in the room was quite nasty. Behind the door hasn't been vacuumed in MONTHS, it was a thick thick layer of dust, the desk was sticky, and the mouldings in the room haven't been wiped down in weeks. It was a little disheartening. We were just in town for one night as a stop over, so it did the job, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness.

I had a wedding today at 2 ocklick un st johns church tralee. Benners hotel is on the entrance to the church driveway. On enrty with my 65 year old aunt my 58 year old mother. A member of staff ran towords us ever before we had even enteted the bar and stated "we dont serve alchohol by day but i dont realy know. I was sure as it was 1.35 it was a missunderstanding. With just 25 mins to spear before the wedding. We continued to proceed to the bar and ask for 3 single drinks were we were told on most days we dont serve drink until afret 7 ocklock. We had a soft drink and left. Ive been her on numerouse occasions before for lunch dinner evenings out etc. But if im honest i think it was because we are member of the travelling community and today it was made more aware by bieng accompanied by my mother and aunt. Either way not a great service were we have a major festival on in a few days. Ive heard tbese storys before about this establishment. In this day and age its ver sad. We are realy upset about this.

Clean , convenient, nice staff, little loud from the pub across the street. Hey it’s just people having fun! I wore my AirPods @ night and it was fine. Very good breakfast! Comfortable beds, all was good. If you plan on renting a bike in Tralee, do so in advance. Town is kinda short on bike rentals. The Greenway bike trail is very nice. Not far from the hotel.

Quite a quirky little hotel. Lovely receptionist on arrival. Bathroom very tired and dated but did the job. Shower was wonderful, very powerful and hot. Ate in Mary Js restaurant, fab food and the best staff in restaurant and bar. They really are a credit to the hotel. Easy going chats all night . Breakfast was very nice also, although it could have been replenished faster. Overall, a lovely stay and I will definitely recommend, if only for the staff alone. They are the making of this hotel. Well done.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a birthday party being held there . From checking in to checking out we had a wonderful stay . Staff at reception were really friendly. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed , hairdryer, iron and a bottle of still and sparkling water . On the hotel website it showed the bathroom to have an over bath shower but on arrival I was delighted to see a modern , refurbished bathroom with a walk in shower 😊. The only downside was that the shower itself wasn’t very powerful and turned off a couple of times , but it was fine . Breakfast was very good with a buffet counter and all the cooked foods were fresh and hot . Scrambled eggs were excellent as was the coffee! There was also a choice of eggs Benedict etc from a menu . Also the food at the party was outstanding and they just kept bringing more and more food ! The bar staff were all friendly too ! For a hotel in the middle of a busy street it was so quiet and we slept soundly . Can’t rate this hotel high enough and we will definitely stay here again
