Pros: Close to the water Basic stay and somewhat clean facilities Fridge, stove, functioning WiFi were all helpful Our bnb receptionist waited for us even if we arrived extremely late. Close to the water. Cons: Basic stay Did find insects but it could be that the window is open and the area is just prone to bugs No breakfast.

My mum found this place searching for suitable accommodation for Nice, the Caffe has excellent transport links to the french riviera but was also really good value for money. It sits on the beach front with all amenities nearby. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. The cafe also has its own restaurant with delicious and reasonably priced food. The staff were all really nice and helpful at all times. I cannot fault the place, everything you need for a weekend in France

Asked for an espresso macchiato or noisette as they call it here... and my wife gets an espresso filled up to half a cappuccino cup and a teaspoon of milk.... when I told barista , what is this,,,, ? He explained, welll u said little milk ...Maybe I did but surely did not ask for an espresso with extra water to fill up half a cup used for capuccino...Point is he could care less........ Now believe me or not, by coincidence in early afternoon I meet my brother in law having lunch there, so decided to join them out of politeness ...ordered entree of mussels ( stuffed) , they were okay ( even if there was a bad one, happens especially in hot countries),, and fried smelts... the smelts, were hard as overfried or double fried.....inedible... ate maybe 4 ..... didn’t think you could even by accident eat this bad in Italy or France!!!,

Stayed at Cafe Riveria for 9 days in June, wanting a sea view with a cheap price is almost impossible. But because we had a car then staying just a little further out but still having a sea view was worth it. The rooms are a little out of date but still had all the things you needed essentially. One or two things missing was there was no irons, had kettle and coffee machine but no teabag or coffee to use. Our apartment had two levels, the bathroom, kitchen and seating area is downstairs. You get your sea view from the window (amazing to look out of everyday). There is stairs which rises up into a small balcony area and has a bed, ceiling is very low so watch your head. In general the bed were very comfy, aircon functional and nice strong shower too. The top balcony sleeping section can get really warm so they provide you with a fan. We did not take breakfast so can't comment on the food or drinks. Getting proper service was the staff is like non existent. When we arrived about 1pm on the day and told them we had a booking here. Instantly the young guy with the short hair said bluntly they said "check in is not till 3pm", I said yes but can I leave my bags first. There was no words of welcome at all, they just sort of looked at us in disgust. When we finally checked in, there wasn't much explanation or no help with our bags to lug up the steep two flights of stairs. After getting in the room, he disappears and never to be seen again until checkout. Cleanliness is abit of an issue, especially the crockery they provide for you to use to self cater. The kettle had floaters in it, basically needed a good clean and descaling. Had to buy lemon to put inside the kettle to clean it before I to used it. The crockery they provided, looks like it has just been rinsed and not washed as it had tea/coffee stains inside. I don't expect linen to be changed everyday but it was not changed at all during our 9 days there. Now that is worrying and unhygienic especially with the hot weather. Overall our stay was OK, could have been improved with the service and also the cleanliness. With such an amazing view from the room, improvements could be made. Also parking isn't free, there is a parking area behind the hotel but at 15euros a day is abit pricey.

This restaurant had excellent service and great food with view of Mediterranean. Reasonable prices and low stress atmosphere makes this a great place to unwind. We will definitely revisit on our next trip.

Never go to thishotel again!!! Although the rooms were not bad, the the young guy who manage the guests were particularly rude. There is no parking around the hotel, while they claim at their site there is free parking. It' s a pity because otherwise the hotel has a great location, and the views from the windows are great!

We arrived at this hotel a little later than 10:30 pm and to our surprise there was noone at the reception. We repeatedly tried calling on the number that was mentioned in the reservation acknowledgement but noone picked up. This place is not fit to be a hotel.

Bien Cordialement La Direction

We spent a night here while transiting in Europe. We asked for a room with view, whilst we didn't get it as they were all full it would have been nice to be told before we arrived. The room was smallish and suitable for an overnight but would not have liked to stay longer. It was very close to the beach and we enjoyed a pleasant stroll the next morning. We ate in the restaurant, the food was pretty good and the service and staff were excellent. All the personnel from check in to restaurant to organizing a taxi the next morning were friendly and helpful. The building is a bit old and tired with narrow stairs but was adequate for what we wanted.

The room was big, Amazing view from the window, small TV, nice shower, no elevator, no WiFi, and the bed was LUMPY. Very lumpy... Which made sleeping a bit challenging. Would I stay here again? If the price is competitive- yes
