What an absolute gem of a hotel! Not only is it perfectly located in the heart of the city and close to all the main sites but the hotel itself is beautiful. The best part was the staff, who just made our whole holiday perfect, such and warm welcome and always so helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed for five nights until 31st December. All photos and descriptions of hotel online are factual. It is well located, particularly for a walking tourist - hotel to Juliet's tomb 35 minutes for example. However, in winter the rooftop area is closed, as is the courtyard, so bar, restaurant, and room service, only outlets for food/beverages. Prices quite a bit higher than local restaurants reflecting its status. Breakfast was full buffet at a cost of 36 Euros unless included as B & B. Hot food for vegetarian was scrambled egg, ready-made omelette, hash browns, and spinach - yes, spinach! Same for five days. Room had adequate wardrobe/drawer space. No tea/coffee facilities. Tv high up on wall, opposite bed. No English language tv programmes (all dubbed) apart from news channels CNN, BBC, Sky. No separate film channel for a fee. All very disappointing after a busy day visiting the sites and wanting to relax on the bed watching a film. A hotel of this standard ought to reconsider its entertainment offerings.

This is an excellent location for exploring the city. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop lounge where we had wine and appetizers. You can't beat it for a respite after walking and exploring all day. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The prices for room service were very high but there are good restaurants within a short distance. My wife and I recommend this hotel.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is right in the heart of Verona, situated on Piazza di St Anastasia, overlooking the Basilica of St Anastasia. All the sights and landmarks of Verona are within walking distance of this hotel, and it was easy to pop back to the hotel in the middle of the day to cool down and top up the suntan lotion. The hotel has an opulent feel, in keeping with its past as a former palace. We stayed in a Junior Suite which comprises a seating area with desk and bureau opening on to a queen-sized bedroom area and a lovely en-suite bathroom. The room was beautifully clean, spacious and cool overlooking the square, perfect. Dining and seating areas in the hotel are spacious. Breakfast was served in the upstairs restaurant offering buffet service. The selection was large, and the attentive staff were on hand if you couldn’t find exactly what you wanted. We had drinks on the Rooftop Terrace on evening, a must do. The view of Verona was beautiful by night, and once again, the staff were super attentive. In fact, all the staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Every aspect of the Due Torri is subtle and classy, a wonderful 5-star experience. We will return!

This property is old, dingy, tired and stuck in another time zone. The property boasted itself to be a 5 stars hotel but my opinion is that it is not. It fails in all category. We moved out after one night to a significantly better hotel just minutes away. I think my action speaks for the rating. I would not recommend it to my friends and families who may be visiting Verona, Italy.

Very pleasent stay. Situated in a beautiful part of the city, we had to stay here due to an unfortunate mix up with dates at another hotel. Staff were very helpful. The hotel was very, very nice and had a beautiful rooftop bar with views of the city. Breakfast was included. (I would hope so as the one night stay was over priced by some distance at €510 inc city tax) it was also a Thursday night. Staff at breakfast were very friendly. The rooms very nice, but a long way from what a room at €500 should be. I would definitely stay again but only on an improved rate.

Excellency defines this hotel. Due Torry is situated in the center of Verona, just by the beautiful Sant Anastasia Church, Juliet`s balcony is only a few minutes walk away and close to the lovely Piazza delle Erbe. The hotel retains much of its historical character, maintaining original medieval architectural details. The friendly, professional, and helpful staff is probably the main asset that sets the hotel apart from others. Pleasant porters are ready to assist you upon arrival. Breakfast is nice. Big variety of fresh and thoroughly selected food. The hotel offers a range of lunch and dinner options depending on the season. The Roof Terrace is exceptional with panoramic views of the Church of Sant Anastasia and the Lamberti Tower. We ate there several times, the food was delicious. The impeccable service led by the restaurant manager Ali Zaza who also shared with us his in-depth knowledge of sommelier. I would especially like to mention Franko Capone, a wonderful personality who sets the tone in a highly professional family of hotel employees. After a long day, my wife and I went to the bar at the Roof Terrace. Franko greeted us with a splendid cocktail "Bellini". While we were enjoying it he introduced us to the historic events of the Verona belfries with such detail that any tourist guide would envy.

I was expecting a lot from this trip. I have stayed before, and it was just fantastic. This time I went with two friends. During this stay, things were a bit lacking. First, when I arrived at the hotel, I had requested an early check in, and late check out as a Leaders club member. We did not get an early check in, and they did not give us a late check out, when I did ask, we were given an extra hour on the day of check out. Also, I am used to the 5 star hotels in Leader's club reading your preferences, and to know that you have been before. They did not seem to have done this. However, the young man who was an apprentice, and the lady at the front desk, were lovely, and did everything to make us feel welcome. They also had a wheelchair that we could use, as one of us has limited mobility. Now, on the way to our room, we are given an envelope, and we are told that we have a 90 Euro voucher for the roof terrace. Also, they would book us in that night. Then, an hour before we were due to the roof top terrace, we open the envelope, and see that it is the wrong name. So, we go to Reception. A rather grumpy lady on the front desk, says that they have made a mistake, and we cannot have a voucher, it was not for us. We say that we find this to be poor service, they made a big thing of giving us the voucher and booking us in for the Roof top terrace, that they made a mistake, is on them. She was unwilling to see this, but the manager did step in, and we did get a voucher in our name. This was then mentioned when we checked out. We are happy that it was sorted, but not happy about the way it was done. The hotel made a mistake, gave us a voucher and told us that we were given this voucher, they hoped we would enjoy, and booked us into the terrace. If this had been the Ritz, I am certain that they would have apologized, and sorted it. It is a 5 star hotel, they made the mistake, not us. Then, on the day we were checking out, a lady comes to our door with another envelope, and a bottle of red wine, and says it is for us with compliments of the hotel. AGAIN, it is the wrong name, it was not for us. So, twice they gave us letters with someone else's name on the letter inside. The roof top terrace is FANTASTIC. The staff are wonderful, and the food is wonderful. I had sea bass and loved it. So, the Restaurant is definitely 5 star. The room we had this time was very nice, we even had a terrace. Thank you Due Torri, much appreciated. The rooms are rather small, so it was a bit cramped for 3. If we go all three again, we will book a junior suite, if we go back to this hotel. The hotel building is lovely, a lot of art on the walls and the ceiling. Absolutely worth seeing. In all, we enjoyed the stay, but I felt the service was a bit lacking, it was much better before. So, I am a bit hesitant to go back, as I expect 5 star service from 5 star hotels, and this was not.

Dear mcm68Norway, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay. We appreciate your loyalty as a Leader's club member and regret any inconveniences you encountered during this visit. It's disheartening to learn that the requested early check-in and late check-out weren't fulfilled as expected, and we apologize for any disappointment caused. Your feedback about the confusion with the vouchers and incorrect names has been duly noted, and we are genuinely sorry for any frustration it may have caused. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the fantastic rooftop terrace, and we appreciate your positive comments about the restaurant and the room. However, we understand your concerns about the perceived lapse in service. Rest assured, your feedback is invaluable, and we will use it constructively to improve our processes and ensure a more seamless experience for our guests in the future. We sincerely hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the exceptional service you deserve. Warm regards,

Class and excellence define this hotel. From its location close to everything in a quiet area near one of the main churches, only 2 minutes walk to the heart of the city. A small cozy and elegant hotel that is made superb by its staff, from reception to the maids to the breakfast team, everyone to a person was polite and efficient and made you feel very special and lucky to be in such a lovely hotel As a lot of 5 star Italian hotels they maintain a sense of history and grandeur, don’t expect a modern swish hotel but rather a hotel that maintains it roots and history The room ( deluxe double) was well appointed, very clean and had all amenities ( a kettle would have been nice tho’ 😉) Breakfast room was nice and the staff amazing, warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble …. good choice of hot and cold buffet with high quality meats, salmon, fruits, cheese and a variety of staple hot foods. as celebrating a birthday, the hotel without telling them arranged a nice bottle of wine and a special birthday cake when we arrived back to the room. Verona is a great city and a fantastic base to travel to Milan, Venice. Bologna, Lake Garda, Brescia ( don’t go on Sunday as it’s closed 😔) The train station is a 10 minute cab ride away and has a great inexpensive service to all of the above with clean, fast and reliable trains … We took train to Venice and upgraded to business for around £80 return which took just over an hour ! Lake Garda 20 mins away by train Verona has so much to offer and has a fantastic choice of places to visit, eat, drink and shop ! Grazie Mille

Verona is a little gem this hotel made our stay really special. The hotel is very old and has great character. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed in a basic room as they were nearly full but it was more than adequate. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening, but breakfast was fine and had everything you needed. A few extras, such fresh orange juice were an additional charge. It was a memorable stay and the only mistake was we did not stay longer than three nights!
