Me and my best friend stayed here on our trip to Verona. We had a great experience here, very nice hotel, very clean and attentive staff. It is about a 25-30 minute walk to Verona centre however there are lots of electric scooters, taxis available and buses. The hotel is only around a 5 minute walk to the train station. The hotel being extremely close to the train station was great though, we did a day trip to Lake Garda and Milan during our stay. The only thing I would say is that obviously being tourists, we have no idea whether this is a safe area or not. We presumed it was as we felt safe, however we walked back from the train station at around 5pm after a trip to Lake Garda and a man approached us in his vehicle on the road of the hotel. He slowed down his car and gestured us to get in, we didn’t respond and kept walking as we could see the hotel so we just tried to get there as quick as possible. The man then kept driving and pulled up in the car park by the hotel and just stared at us waiting for us to walk past, we kept walking and he ended up driving away as people came out of the hotel. As you can imagine, this made us feel incredibly unsafe especially as two women travelling alone. Of course, this has no association with the hotel and could happen anywhere, just definitely be careful in the area. Also, if you are looking for a shop/convenience store there are NONE around this area, it’s crazy! We even asked a taxi driver at 7pm and he said none would be open now and the only one he knows closest is Spar, which is in central Verona. Verona is a beautiful place nevertheless and we had a great time!

Nice clean hotel, good facilities, breakfast was excellent, few minutes walk from the train/bus station. Which was great for us it’s about 20/30 minutes walk up to piazza bra. Highly recommend it.(the only moan was no kettle tea/coffee in the room and there’s no shop near it that we found,so bring drinks/snacks with you). Staff were great very helpful, you can buy the Verona card at reception this also works on the buses. Happily stay here again if back in Verona.

We stayed for 4 nights in this 3 star hotel. The location is quite close to the railway station, ideal for taking day trips out of town. It’s quite a walk into the historic centre, though, but there are regular buses from the station. Our room on an upper floor was fairly quiet. Not very large, but practical and adequate with all the necessities: plenty of wardrobe space, a comfortable bed, good lighting, a safe, and a TV with International channels. The bathroom was fine, with a decent shower. There was an initial bottle of water in the room; after that you have to buy it. The breakfast was fabulous for a hotel of this category. A good variety of fruit, different cereals, juices, cold cuts, cheeses, rolls, and various croissants and pastries. I think there was also some hot food. The only negative thing about breakfast was having to prebook your sitting as the dining room was not that big. The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful with any information you might need. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Do follow the instruction given by the hotel in getting there. It’s located behind the train station. Close to an art school. Weird floor-length window has a top down blind that once you let it descend then it will make your room very dark. Very quiet room even though our room was across from the elevator. Breakfast buffet was not included in our booking but we paid for one on our departure date. Lots of variety, sweet pastries, salume, cheese, yogurt, etc. Negative points: -no kettle in the room (though Abraham provided a tray of teapot with hot water and cups; we just had to go down to get refill from the breakfast room) -it seems that if you don't turn on ac then there is no ventilation -when we checkd in, one of the front desk team recommended a restaurant and it wasn't open for lunch when we got there. Great service from Abraham and others at the front desk. We were able to drop off our luggage when arrived before check in time to do some sightseeing. After checking out, we also left our luggage at the hotel in order to do some last minute walk before our train ride to the next destination. Overall it was a good and enjoyable stay at Novo Hotel Rossi.

We only had one night here just to have a quick look at the city on the way from Venice to Milan. Such a beautiful city underrated and worthy of much more time. Hotel Novo is just a 5 minute walk from the train station. Google will take you the long way around so beware. The historic centre is a short bus ride away. The room was modern and spacious and in their new building. The old building is being renovated. Breakfast was simple but good. Only negatives were no tea and coffee making facilities and the air- conditioning not available during winter. We found the room extremely hot. Otherwise a good option for short stays when one wants to be near train station.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk into the town centre so well located. Our room and the bathroom looked like they were new. It was clean, the beds were super comfy and the Wifi was excellent. We arrived in the evening and whilst there was no restaurant there is an option to order take away Italian food to be delivered which was perfect for us on that occasion. The staff were very helpful and also allowed us to leave our bags the following day whilst we did some sightseeing. Highly recommended.

The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. We did not meet the cleaning staff, but the room was very clean and tidied between our 2 day stay.It is ideal if you want yo be local to the train/bus station. We never mind a 20 minute or so walk to the main city area, but a bus service was near by.Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
