Looks very shabby from the outside.. Says they speak English but the two people we encountered spoke next to none. Our room was on top floor and advertised as having sound proofing, a view of the city and as having a bidet.. the view was a small carpark and the back of another building, there definitely wasn't sound proofing it was very noisy from other guests so I didn't sleep very well and we definitely didn't have a bidet! The lift was very small and we didn't like it so used the stairs which we didn't mind but there was a mattress and other items on the stairs!! It was pretty clean but room was very basic and small. I think it was over priced for what it was. On the plus side the staff were polite, air conditioning was amazing and it was in a great location.

Booked this with 2 friends as we were travelling over for the Rangers - Braga europa league game. Very last minute and was very cheap so didn’t hold high hopes but was totally wrong. Rooms were very comfortable. Bed was great, shower was brilliant, place was quiet. Literally can’t ask for anymore for a short trip where all you’re needing is a decent place to sleep. 3pm check in time is only down side but apart from that. Spot on. Would book again

The guesthouse is located about an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of Braga. There are just two guest parking spaces outside the hotel but if these were full I'd imagine it'd be easy enough to get a space along the street. The room we had was basic but comfortable, breakfast wasn't included in our price so we went elsewhere in the morning. The lift can be a bit dodgy. Overall though decent value for money.

Situated just a couple of minutes away from the old part of Braga, this small hotel is very convenient for a short stay. There is a parking spot just in front of the hotel. The room was nice and clean. It is a good value for money. Do not miss the trip to Bom Jeasus!

What can you expect for 30 Euros (April 2016) a night? Well a simple one star hotel located about seven minutes from downtown Braga! The rooms are small, good sleeping, clean allover. Breatfast is included in the price above! Friendly staff helps you out, much more than we expected. Served from 8 to 10 am. When you leave the hotel just go right to the Mercure Hotel, make a right again and you are in 5 minutes in the old city center. Cannot be better. Once again, its a one star hotel, not fancy, but good to stay the night, also two.

The location is great, but the room wasn't good. It was very small (the pics on booking.com site doesn't seem to be the same place), there were mold on the wall, seems that they don't do regular maintenance, our window was loose, the bathroom box wasn't closing properly and almost flood the floor (the mat was plastic and didn't absorbed water). The staff was helpful. The wi-fi didn't work well.

Stayed here for a weekend. People were kind and helpful. Room was small and very modest, although very clean. Comfortable, yet somewhat small beds. Acclimatization was efficient and fast. Bathroom needs refurbishment but everything works well, except for the hot water in full booking days (which ends faster than you'd wish). Breakfast was very modest, limited to milk, coffee or juice to drink and bread with marmalade or butter (yes, there's no cheese, ham, croissants, fruit and all those delicious fresh meals to start a long walking day). Impossible hotel for old or disabled people, since there's a lot of unavoidable stairs. No internet for guest, but they let you use their own computer if you need. Great location, some noise from the street but room's well protected from the outside. Nice, yet simple view.
