I stayed here for 10 nights with two friends. Two rooms on the ground floor with the wonderful garden in front of us. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent parking and location in the main street. Lovely area, with the Brittany coast within minutes. My kind of place.

We stayed here 4 nights. The room was clean and well serviced. It had the normal amenities; TV, coffee maker, desk plenty of plugs etc. The hallway had a bit of a mild smell from mildew but I am super sensitive due to my extreme allergies. It was all manageable. This hotel exceeded every expectation I had of a 3 star rated hotel. The staff that served us was absolutely incredible. There are kind, considerate and pleasant to talk too and they truly made us feel welcomed. The second point is that the meals were extremely good. It was a typical French breakfast with multiple choices of breads meats cheese eggs orange juice etc. Everything was fresh and most of the products were locally sourced. Great value Adequate room space. Mostrooms look into their beautiful garden Outstanding service Location is a bit out of the way but you can easily bus or taxi to a larger town. We did so to Auray. 15 minutes away by bus 2.50 euro for the trip. Get a guide for the Saint Anne's church. A very short walk from the hotel There simply too many tales to tell.

We previously stayed here in 2010 and had a really great experience at the hotel during a 3 night visit. We decided to visit the area again in September 2019 and use the hotel for the first week of our stay in southern Brittany. We were really pleased that the same family were still in charge of the hotel, although some of the younger family members were now more in control. We found that the original head chef and owner from 2010 was now semi retired and running a wine bar a few doors away down the main street and that his daughter and son-in-law were running a very good restaurant about 500 meters further along the high street. This L'Augerge hotel is still excellent value and provides an excellent standard for accommodation and food. On both of our visits to this hotel we chose a luxury room on the ground floor. The service from all the family and staff is certainly still at the very high standard that we experienced in 2010, as is the food in the restaurant. The breakfast is still something to look forward to each morning. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel, we really enjoyed our stay once again. I'm sure we will return again.

Hotel itself was very comfortable, our room looked into the garden and we had a small private patio. Lovely. The dinner was exquisite, perfect food, brilliant service, all quite theatrical. Food was in our view of Michelin star quality. Couldn’t fault l’auberge, and we will surely be back

This is a comfortable, well run hotel. Our room was spacious with a balcony and a large comfortable bed. We booked our stay on a half board basis and the highlight of the stay was undoubtedly dinner. Each dish was interesting, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The selection of wines by the glass was excellent, as was the advise of the sommelier. Service was impeccable.

We received a warm welcome by charming and friendly staff. Our room was large and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. In the shower-room there was an excellent and powerful shower.

We were greeted by the owner's son who spoke very good english and made us very welcome. Our bedroom had a balcony and overlookied a lovely garden The furniture nicely matched but attention was required to the veneer coming off the desk, The hotel restaurant was closed and the L'Auberg(ine) L'Ostale (owned by the same family) was recommended. On entering we were shown to a table by the door, we asked if we could change as I found it cold. Grudgingly the waitress told us 'sit there', pointing to another table and left us. Our starters of petoncles and tomatoes with mackerel were tasty. We asked for frites to accompany Lemon Sole but the waiter did not tell us that sauted potatoes also came with the fish. We found the potatoes/frites greasy and limp, it all lacked seasoning. The owner's son (from hotel) took time to suggest a light red wine to go with our fish, Marcella, a good choice, his knowledge was amazing. The decor of the restaurant was different, interesting and unusual cork designs adorned the walls. We hope that on our next visit the hotel/restaurant is open as we had such good recommendations about it. The breakfast was satisfactory with freshly prepared egg dishes available on request.

The L'Auberge staff made sure our family group of 11 Americans was well cared for and looked after. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the morning breakfast offered a wide choice of foods. Thanks to the L'Auberge staff for helping our family trip go so smoothly!

The cutest family run boutique hotel. The customer service, the friendliness, the hospitality may be the best you will ever experience in your life. It is insanely cosy. The food is delicious. With a sommelier on staff!! The wines, the cheeses... Out of this world.

In common with other friends we always try to arrange a visit here on our way back to the U.K. Wonderful accommodation and stunning food. We paid 29 euros for the most memorable meal we have had in years. Staff were fantastic especially the wine waiter who took great pains to find something for us from a really extensive wine list. Rooms are beautifully fitted out and extremely comfortable Quite simply, they don't come much better than this and well worth making a diversion in order to stay here.
