A great place for authentic Hungarian/Jewish food. Good portion sizes for the price. My mother in law says she had the best falafel, she has ever tasted. The service was great, very observant and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is very hygge. It is obvious it is a local watering hole.

Well cooked and good size proportions. For a starter I had a traditional jewish stone soup - beans with goulash. Main course of humus, kebab, pitta, veg, etc.Not the cheapest - about £25 all in but certainly worth it. The one thing preventing 5 stars is that In ordered a can of craft beer but only after I had started drinking it did I realise same beer was on the menu as draught at a much lower price - they could have told me!

Service and food was good. A little pricey and noisy. We shared a starter of Hungarian Meat Roll, which turned out to be a pork spring roll but tasty nonetheless. I enjoyed the goose leg with braised red cabbage. My husband had their venison stew which he enjoyed. Finally we shared a dessert of their cottage cheesecake which we both enjoyed.

Was at the outdoor bar section for drinks, ordered two Moscow Mules. The drinks we received were so sweet that a kid would have most likely enjoyed than had it been legal but were not an option for adults to consume. I asked to exchange for a new drink that we can actually drink, he prepared it but insisted that I must pay for the new round although I left it for him on the bar. This is not customer service and I will not be back, nor anyone I know. There are plenty of good places in Budapest, you will be better off getting a drink that is well made and hopefully with good customer service too!

Very nice rooms in the middle of the city centre, friendly staff and anything is possible. Our flight was cancelled and we didn't have to pay for that night. Each day an item on the (good) breakfast menu is included, with two drinks even.

Located in the heart of the city, a short walk to every place, well almost, for instance Gozsdu Udvar, the gastronome‘s paradise and the Great Market hall, this is a small yet fun place to stay in Budapest. A homely restaurant with a visually appealing and flavourful choice of food, cafe style open compound for drinks and a chat and the friendliest staff one ever came across in a touristic town. The rooms are a delight with minimalist and retro furnishings that are charming to say the least. Secret tip- Ask for Rooms 2 or 3. If you prefer to tuck into bed early, not the place for you. But who does that in Budapest?
