Our four-star family-owned property is located in the centre of Visegrád, next to the Danube river. It features 73 rooms, a spa area with in-door and out-door swimming pools, jacuzzi, saunas, steam bath, etc., several conference rooms (the largest being 220 sqm), a bownling alley, a restaurant and a bar. We offer free WiFi, business center and spa for our guests. Packages of the hotel include dinner in the well-known Renaissance Restaurant in Visegrád, and we are dealing with programme organization for groups and events (knights tournaments, team builings, catamaran river trips, wine tastings, bus tranportation, etc.)
We spent a weekend from Friday to Sunday there with my husband, and it was a huge disappointment. The only nice experience from this place was its’ restaurant, the waiters were kind and the food was delicious. About the hotel itself I cannot say anything positive. The receptionists at the check-in were phlegmatic and they supposed that everyone knows everything about the hotel. The room was dirty, the carpet had many stains, and the furniture was dusty and had stains from glasses. We got towels that were so filthy that we didn’t dare to use them. The shower head was leaking everywhere and the water temperature was fluctuating. In the room there was nothing that a 4-star hotel usually offers (eg. coffee, tea and kettle) and a safe could be only used if you can get a key from the…

Kedves Vendégünk! Köszönjük a visszajelzést! A zuhanyt ellenőriztük, jelenleg tökéletesen működik.

Of all the places we stayed on our recent cycling holiday, the Hotel Visegrad was my favourite. A very smart reception with helpful staff who informed us that our luggage had been brought up to our room. We weren't too tired on arrival as the last part of our journey had included a 2-hour ferry trip along the Danube. So we availed of the swimming pool - very civilised. We were very impressed with our room: the bed was on a mezzanine, leaving plenty of space downstairs for our luggage. That said, the steps were noisy and felt a little insecure. We also had a balcony with a lovely view of the river and the nearby hills. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant (Siraly), avoiding the cheap buffet and choosing from the more expensive a la carte menu. We shared a starter of various…

We had a very nice visit to this hotel as part of a cycling tour down the Danube. This is an outstanding hotel with great facilities and great staff. There are indoor and outdoor pools, spa facilities and very nice common areas. There is a pool table, table tennis, darts and even two bowling alleys. The location is great, just off the Danube with amazing views on both sides of the hotel. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was superb. Only slight criticism is the lift is slow and clunky. Well worth a visit though.

this place is just perfect as it is. calm in your room, active in the activity areas, excellent food, staff says YES for all your requests. you just feel in discretion in your rest time but very much attended when have a question or request. nice large rooms, very good wellness area with bar. near by the river danube, beautiful forest with castle and the ruins of the xii century royal palace. funny hotel activities like the king's feast, the carnival party, etc. and i need to stress again the quality of the restaurant service and the delicious food one of the best places i have ever been. i suggest to anyone, travelling solo, with kids, with friends, does not matter

A mid-sized hotel with a good location, affordable price, good restaurant and wellness facility in the center of Visegrád. I enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff both in the hotel, as well as in the restaurant departments. The buffet breakfast is included in the price and is really generous. A buffet (all you can eat) dinnes costs about 3800 HUF (~12 EUR) - there are cheaper options in town, but the quality and the selection is absolutely worth the price! The room was a bit small, but was adequate for me. The indoor wellness facilities are also quite good, although nothing extraordinary. I was able to use them for tree, including the saunas, jacuzzi, swimming and thermal pools. The fitness room is a bit small and unheated. There's also a massage room available at an extra…

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, well furnished, excellent breakfast and great spa area (indoor and outdoor pools, two large jacuzzis, steam room, infra sauna, two finnish saunas, and rest room /outside rest area). However, some of the rooms may need maintenance, as some of the furniture is showing signs of wear and tear. In the spa area some of the floor tiles are discolored with black stains showing, this should be cleaned or fixed. Also, the large picture windows in the spa area are stained, they look like they haven't been cleaned for quite some time. Another problem with the spa is the uncontrolled behavior of the children of some of the less civilized guests who upset other people, keep splashing and jumping in the water irritating others. Perhaps some large and highly…

Really close to river Danube and some rooms have a great view on the castle. The rooms are okay although the bathroom could be more spacious. What I like the most was the really various breakfast and especially the tea corner

We were part of a cycling tour, arrived by train at Nagymaros and made our way across the Danube by ferry. Modern resort. Rooms spacious - nice open doors out to a balcony looking out to the mountains. Hot spring/spa hotel. Unfortunately our bathroom did smell unpleasant - a "sulphery" smell. Felt the breakfast room crockery and cultery could have been cleaner. Picked up several plates still wet and had several attempts to pick up cutlery that looked like it had been washed properly. Staff very friendly and helpful though.
