Located directly at the fishing harbour in Skagen. The hotel makes a friendly impression, as does the receptionist. Very small hotel room where you can fold out the desk from the wall - unfortunately you can't open the room door then. The bathroom is tiny,. Unfortunately, the hotel does not seem to be able to cope with the humidity. The bathroom is very mouldy, unfortunately even in places that could be cleared of it! The restaurant is not recommendable! The fish I ordered died 4 times. There was no more fish to be found because of all the breading and the fish was fried so long that it tasted like an old chipboard! I spoke to the service staff, but they couldn't understand my complaint at all.... Breakfast was ok!

lovely and immaculately clean hotel right across from the train station. Breakfast was wonderful, great selection and presented so nicely. Be aware they have music in a downstairs bar from 10.30-2 am on weekends so ask for a room that is away from the bar if that is a problem for you. I stayed - thanks to the great front desk Kim in a small separate building - room 339 that was super quiet and large w a small fridge. It was great. They had bikes for rent and they were good bikes. Very much enjoyed my stay.

Even though the most of Denmark is closed due to Covid-19 we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast could be picked up at the café and dinner was delivered to the room. We absolutely loves the stay and you might like that there are two charging stations for electric vehicles in the hotel parking.

We had a corner room (No. 1) with nice view to the pedestrian street. The room was spacy and suited us fine. The bathroom here was small but OK. We had a two-course dinner included, which was very good. Service-minded staff.

We stayed at the Foldens Hotel & Cafe for one night and had booked a stay that included a 3-course dinner. The hotel has an excellent location - close to the pedestrian street and within easy walking distance to the harbour. Could not be better (in our view). There is ample parking space and parking is free (not that usual in Denmark). The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were extremely friendly and service-minded. The room (a "Deluxe room") was large and featured a four-poster bed, and the rooms had a large bathroom. Everything was nice and clean. The dinner was way beyond what we had expected; excellent food and arranged in a very delicate way. Truly a nice meal. The same can be said about the breakfast; not luxurious, but what was there was fresh and good. A hotel to be recommended - we will be coming back!

This hotel offers very reasonable accomodation for Skagen. The rooms and good and clean but a little on the “classic” side. The food in the restaurant is also very good and tasty. We Would consider staying here again next time we are in Skagen

Room is really huge and the biggest one of all I am so surprise is the bathroom that you can sleep perfectly if drunk. BF is also great with variety of carbs, protein and fruits which are all delicious especially denish bakery in different tastes. It's quite confused only on the check-in process as rooms can be in other buildings just a few steps from the reception building. Anyway, this is what I'd like to recommend.

Came in for lunch. Very nice restaurant, choose a table at the window, but not many guests. Short menucard for lunch, quite traditional. Food came fast, but not that interesting to be honest. I would personally ask the chef to twist things a little. Maybe even a little more than a little:) Good service anyhow.

We got rooms directly over the bar/restaurant, in which very loud music lasted until 1:30 in the night. Rooms OK, though overprized and simple standard. Next time in Skagen we will definitely stay elsewhere.
