We loved it! The staff were wonderful! We received delicious mint tea and cookies when we arrived, the breakfast was something to look forward to, and because of a snow storm in Norway at the day of leaving, they let us be at the Riad some hours more while waiting and even called a taxi for us and gave us some refreshment. The riad was really an oasis in the Medina, and I will really recommend it!

Great stay! Staffs and manager are very helpful, courteous. Very tidy place, clean room, crispy linen. A little hard to find the hotel due to narrow alleys, they helped me with all the things i needed. It would be great if there was a fridge i can use especially during ramadan and there was no tv.

I stayed at this beautiful Riad with my mother for 5 days and 4 nights at the end of January. It is located in the Medina, and is easy to travel to anywhere in the Medina within walking distance. Although people say it is recommended to stay in the south of Medina, I decided to stay at this Riad in the west of Medina, as it is also located very close to Gueliz! My mother and I stayed in Room Hannah, which was on the first floor and had a beautiful balcony view! Room Hannah was elegant and peaceful and very clean. There was always plenty of hot water available. The Wifi was always available, excellent and working all the time in Room Hannah and when walking around in the Riad. Room Hannah had a great air conditioning which you can increase the temperature to keep warm at night, as it can sometimes be chilly. But luckily we never had the cold chills. Moreover, I really liked how the room had a TV so we can watch shows on YouTube and relax when resting. It’s amazing how outside of the Riad it is so noisy and chaotic, yet inside the Riad, it is so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much to Asmae, Yaseen and Mohamed for going above and beyond and proving amazing hospitality for me and my mother. Asmae was so helpful in answering all my queries before I arrived in Marrakech. She was helpful when planning our daily schedules and gave us top tips on negotiating taxi fares and buying items from the markets. Yaseen was so helpful in taking me and my mother to the exchange shop on the first day when we arrived to help us exchange our money. Furthermore, Yaseen was so amazing in helping us book and calling for taxis and leaving the Riad safely with us in the evenings when we wanted to go out to a restaurant. On the first day of arrival, my mother and I were initially quite afraid as all of the roads in the Medina were very narrow and unsafe. It was quite hard to find the Riad. We are very grateful for Mohamed for informing us to use Google Maps Satellite whilst staying in Marrakech and in the Medina in order to navigate safely. When we entered the Riad, he provided free Moroccan tea! He is a lifesaver; because of his advice, I used this all the time to navigate and we never got lost! We are also grateful for Mohamed carrying our suitcases all the way to our room on the first day, and then taking them down and putting them in the taxi on the last day! We would also like to thank the chef, Mohamed and Yaseen for preparing breakfast on a daily basis. The food was very tasty. It was nice to experience living in a traditional Moroccan environment and eating Moroccan food. We want to thank the chef, who was also the housekeeper, for cleaning our Riad on a daily basis. I liked how the Riad was very spacious. Although we stayed in Room Hannah, we could relax upstairs on the rooftop, take our breakfast to our bedroom or to the lounge and relax in the lounge. Overall, what I really liked the most was that the team gave me the WhatsApp number for the Riad, so I can regularly communicate, call or message them when me and my mother were out and away from the Riad. We would update them regularly, ask them questions and inform them of our location and whereabouts, especially when walking around the Medina at night after leaving the restaurants. Before travelling to Morocco and Marrakesh, many people were surprised that I was travelling with my mother and I was advised that it was unsafe for two women to travel by themselves when staying in Marrakech. However, I could not feel more safe when my mother and I received amazing support from Asmae, Yaseen and Mohamed from the very beginning until the end of our stay! It was definitely worth the money! Thank you Asmae, Mohamed and Yaseen!

Oh my. What a wonderful Riad this is. From the minute we were collected from the airport to being dropped off we were treated like royalty. We can not thank everyone at Dar Dialkoum enough, especially the lovely Mohamed. Nothing was too much trouble, even having to take our breakfast to the rooftop each morning. Thank you all.

Dar Dialkoum is a traditional dwelling of a rich merchant converted into a riad. The location is inside a medina and it will take sometime to navigate through the maze on your own but it's well worth it! You get a glimpse of how people lived in the Medina in the old times. The ambience is beautiful, with a plunge pool in the premises. It' has a very personalized service because there are just 3 suites and 4 rooms. We stayed in Leila which is a suite room and very spacious with a large bathroom done up tastefully. We were welcomed with the traditional mint tea and Moroccan coffee .Breakfast was delicious .It is customary to carry your own key to the riad when you step out, making you feel like a local. The whole experience of living inside the walled city is very enjoyable. Special thanks to Assmae and Abdul

All of the hotel staff were amazing and super helpful. Asmea, Yassin and Mohamed were very helpful and super nice. Many thanks to each of them as they made our stay very comfortable. The hotel location is very convenient to access majority of the city attractions. The hotel provides a nice relaxing environment which really helps to recharge after spending the whole day out in busy souks. The hotel is just 15 minutes drive from the airport. There are plenty of options nearby to eat.

The riad is wonderful, it’s an experience everyone should take once in a lifetime. But just once. It’s beauty but not practical. I missed a frigobar and a better place to eat in the room. And the worst was that our neighbours loved chating louder until 2AM.

We loved our 4 night stay at the Riad. From the start we were treated tremendously well - greeted from the taxi and helped with our bags, then shown around and to our rooms during check in. Throughout we were very well catered to and looked after by the team - thank you :) nothing was too much trouble. We even had breakfast on the roof for my husband’s birthday - it was gorgeous. Our rooms decor was stunning and had all needed. Morning breakfast was great with a big window. Location of the Road is great - within the Medina walls and just a couple of minutes walk from a main road for taxi and street markets. We didn’t get any taxis as walking to most main attractions within the city was with 20/25 mins. The winding streets and hustle / bustle of the medina fall to silence and calm when you step foot within the Riad - you’ll certainly rest easily. Would recommend as a place to stay for sure. You’ll be well looked after.
