Overall Great stay at the Zona Z boutique hotel! Mark and Siggy are exceptional owners who are willing to help you around the city. Rooms were clean, quiet , and centrally located to the beach and bars in the Zona Romantica zone. Great restaurants around and good views. 10/10 recommend

Really disappointing breakfast with stale breads and pastries/cakes, even the cooked to order egg dishes were distinctly mediocre. Every so often I would hear a very loud clanking noise and a foul smell would then emanate from a vent from the floor of the bathroom – cling film was used to cover the vent but this was not wholly successful in preventing smell leakage. Wi-Fi reception in my room was poor which was rather frustrating – it was however fine in the public areas. Speed was adequate. On the positive side the room was a decent size with large TV & desk, and a very comfortable bed. Good location close to public transport links.

Booked the hotel for a 3 night stay. Perfect location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast room is lovely. Although breakfast limited if you don’t eat meat and not keen on eggs. Hotel takes a holding /security deposit - I’m still waiting on this despite paying bill last week. I imagine they hold it for the full 30days? It was about 30% of the booking cost.

My room on the 4th floor was perfect - clean, with a nice view and very comfortable bed. The room service was just perfect, services provided by the hotel were superb and it was not our first stay in the hotel - each time we very extremely satisfied. The location of the hotel gives many opportunities - either on foot or by the underground which is very close to the hotel. I would say, that the hotel is the heart of the Bucharest centre. However, I recommend breakfast in the sky :))) eating the delicious breakfast and watching the capital of Romania was just awesome. Thank you :)

I did a five day brown bear trip and this was our base hotel in the city of Bucharest. The hotel is perfectly located and the rooms are ultra modern and the breakfast is on the top floor which overlooks the city. Stunning on a sunny morning. The staff at reception were so kind to print off my return boarding pass for me at no extra charge. Highly recommend this hotel

Spacious, well laid out, rooms. Good breakfast up on the top floor ( tricky for disabled as the lift stops two floors short). The restaurant was closed for lunch and evenings but this isn't a problem as there are so many within an easy walk. The location is perfect, on the edge of the old town, and close to the university square metro if you want go go further.

First time in Romania and picked this hotel for the location. The best aspects of the hotel in my opinion was the location and the roof top bar. The room was also a good size and there was a good WiFi signal throughout the hotel. The room had a well stocked mini bar that was reasonably priced too. The staff were not that friendly and the food in the restaurant was rather hit and miss, depending on what you ordered. One guy only who was serving upstairs in the bar, taking table orders and serving the food from downstairs to the tables. This caused a long delay and the poor man needed help! Didn’t eat breakfast here so unable to comment on this. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town and everything is within walking distance which is great. The roads around the hotel are extremely busy so leave yourself enough time to get back to the airport!

We got to the hotel in the middle of the night, the receptionist gave us a key to our room and explained about the breakfast hours. In the morning we got up and went up to the 11th floor for breakfast, very humble but we didn’t expect much so it wasn’t a disappointment. On the second day we traveled around the old city which the hotel is located in the middle of it. On the last day we got back from the Therme and asked to switch our wet towels with new ones to get shower, the rudest thing happened and they asked us for 10€ each per towel because they switch it only once a day! We refused to pay extra and they didn’t give us the towels so we left with a really bad taste and we won’t come back there!

The worst 4 stars hotel I've ever had been in my life Horrible mattress to break your back Heating was on and impossible to switch off, so temperature in the room  was like a sauna, meanwhile outside weather was like summer, 25 degree A four stars hotel? Never. Maximum two. It's like a hostel Location is the only good thing
