Very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Receptionist staff very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. Rooms slightly dated but clean, comfortable bed and walk in shower. Breakfast plentiful with selection of hot or cold food. You won't get a better location with the old town just 5 mins walk. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very nice which is more than I can say for the reception staff on arrival. After travelling many hours to get there from uk we were told that we were late arriving and that we were put as a no show and that the system would not let them book us in even though the check in time was 3pm to 5:30am. How ridiculous is that being a hotel in a foreign country to us . We were told we could have rooms at a price even though we had already paid. The receptionist was very unhelpful and unsympathetic We were finally given our rooms almost 2 hours after arriving and with some fuss. We never received an apology from reception staff. The attitude of a particular receptionist needed much to be desired which was a shame as the hotel was very nice.

We arrived at the hotel at 04:07 after a 12 hr journey to Bucharest. Elena (reception) told us that she had cancelled our entire booking (3 twin rooms) when we had not arrived by 04:00. Tried to explain that it was our first visit to Romania and that our minibus had failed to show at the airport resulting in us having to get two UBER’s however she was not prepared to listen to any explanations. She did say that we could have our rooms immediately if we paid again (we had paid for 3 nights b&b in advance) so we’re not prepared to pay twice. We asked to speak to a Manager (he wasn’t due on shift until 07:00). There were sofas in reception so we sat with our luggage, exhausted from the long journey. Elena put full lights on, turned the music up, hoovered around us and was in and out of the front doors every 2 minutes for a cigarette. One of our party searched the hotel website only to discover black and white print that clearly stated that check-in time was up to 05:30. They managed to get her to listen and showed her the evidence on the website to which she responded with, “I don’t know what to say!…” No apology, however it was now 05:30, almost 1.5 hrs since we arrived and she did agree to leave us check-in. We spoke to the Manager when he came on shift and he just told us he knew, he had been told and that it was okay, we have a room so it is okay now!!! Again, no apology or recognition of how bad it had been having to sit up for an additional 1.5 hrs after travelling on two long coach trips, a plane and an UBER. Rooms were basic and no change of bedding or towels the entire trip. The breakfast was probably the best part of the trip (we could only get one out of three of our breakfasts as we had to sleep through the first one as got rooms so late and we had booked an early excursion for another of the days. Beautiful country, so much to see and do, but let down by the sheer lack of empathy and remorse of staff, from the Manager down. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel is in a good central location for sightseeing, the rooms were clean and ok sizewise, the wifi worked well, breakfast was good. The staff were helpful when asked. I had a small apartment with a really nice little balcony. Unlikely to return but if I did happy to stay here again.

Stayed with my sister for 3 nights for a city break. Hotel is in a good location about 5 mins walk to the old town. It was very clean in all areas. Shower was wonderful, plenty of hot water and very powerful. Air con worked very well. Bed was extremely comfortable and bedroom was very large with everything you needed. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Bought a drink in the cafe and took it up to the terrace which us a very nice area. Wi fi wasn't great and kept going off. Cleaning staff were all very friendly and alwsys greeted you. Male reception staff were very friendly and helpful but female reception staff were not particularly friendly and a little morose at times. Nevertheless a lovely hotel which we would thoroughly recommend.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Old Town. Reception is welcoming although not very wheelchair friendly as the reception desk is above your eyeline. The room was lovely, clean and the bed was comfy. A little street noise on 3rd floor but acceptable. The breakfast was below par and many containers were often empty. On one occasion the hash browns tasted like they were from the day before. We tried to eat in the restaurant at the front of the hotel but they had ran out of Margherita pizza but did have a pepperoni... So they're not fresh and not made on site. We ate elsewhere. On day one we noticed a dead rose in a glass at breakfast, it was still there on day three. It's the little things like tha which let the hotel down. Not a hotel issue not a reflection on the hotel but Romania is a long way off being wheelchair accessible.

Me and my friend Julia was on a package deals and really enjoyed the hotel. Everything was excellent the staff was very helpful in everyway me and my friend will be back and will book the hotel from there website. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice to have plus they even made us a pack up due to our trip out which was lovely. They even booked us a taxi back to the Airport which was great. The hotel was the best part of our holiday plus there a great club control a few paces away from the hotel.

This is definitely a 2-3-star hotel...but the rooms are 2- star rooms at best and they have 1-star pillows. In the US this would be a 2-star hotel max. Rooms are tiny and dated and smell musty. I would not recommend this hotel when visiting Bucharest
