Avoid a stay in this hotel. It used to be a fantastic hotel in the 80´s but not anymore. Bedroom is dirty , bathroom the same, the breakfast is so poor and not even worth the 9000 FCFA you pay for it. Only positive things , the view and the people working there. Does not deserve 4 stars even on a local standard

I stayed in the Heden Golf Hotel for the third but not because it is my favourite one. As the meetings of the International Cocoa Organisation ICCO take place there it is the most convenient solution. Transfer from and to the airport is well organised. Service is good, breakfast is okay but you can see that this hotel has seen better times. The bathrooms are still from the 1980s. Water pressure and water temperature depend on the time. Especially the bathrooms have to be modernised. Air-conditioning works but it is sometimes difficult to control. Wi-Fi is slow and is not permanentely available which makes your business stay from time to time ineffektive. I adjusted my working habits to these conditions.

People was specially nice. We had some meetings over the week. Breakfast was ok. The room was little bit dark, amenities were ok. External facilities like park, swimming pool, tennis court, etc were nice. I made some running outsid3

The entire hotel, lobby, hallway, rooms, look like they were decorated in the 1970s. The fittings, furnishing and carpet are all in a shabby state. The grounds and pool are lovely and the location right on the water is beautiful, but the hotel us not worth what you pay to stay without a very thorough refurbishment. The food in the restaurant is decent and the service is passable though patchy. I sat down in the creperie and was ignored for quite a while before someone served me. I called and asked for an iron to be brought to the room but it never arrived.

I have been staying several times in this hotel. This I got a room in an aisle where I did not stay before. The room is stinking because of the carpet. I had to open the water tap for at least 15 minutes before getting a lukewarm water. Besides these structural issues service has worsened with only one hanger left in the room, added after 2 days after begging for eat; same for a cup of tea at breakfast: you need to ask for eat and then only a kettle is boiling it: for a whole week only twice the waiter asked if I needed to drink anything; a late check out was refused in a very rude way. I have come to this hotel since 1991 but I don't plan to get back anymore despite the proximity of the golf course.

Do not stay here is you do not speak French. However, room was dated but clean, air conditioning worked great, nice pool and grounds. Staff very nice. Creperie in lobby and breakfast was good. No hairdryers so bring that and converters.

Was there for a work event and did not have to pay for it. It certainly needs a serious update because is in rough rough shape. It is clean but it is hard to appreciate it given the carpet, the colours, and the smell that pervades the space. The bed is great and allowed me to sleep like a baby. So kudos to the cleaning staff and to whom picked the beds

In terms of facilities and service, there is nothing particularly impressive about the hotel. However, it appears that improvements are ongoing. Nevertheless, the grounds are quite pleasant - right on the lagoon. Location is okay. Incidentally, the hotel has a storied history, given that it is famous for hosting President Ouatara during the war.

It might have been the rains but I could smell the damp right from corridor. The smell/feeling just hung all through my stay. Apart from that, the bed is really nice and sleep quality was good. The grounds, up to the lagoon are a plus.

I had a terrible experience with the golf hotel from arrival to departure two weeks later from the Haden Golf Hotel. The service in the hotel is non-existing, well if you speak English. My first room had problems with aircon, the safe and balcony door. After much effort and frustration the Hotel decided to give me a different room, but this room had its own problems, no safe and no warm water. In the end I was forced to choose what issues I was willing to live with, as the problems would not be solved. The Hotel needs maintenance in general and in all the rooms. It is not super clean either. I can however commend room service and good food. If you do not speak French avoid this hotel at all cost.
