Location, It's a bit far from the main attractions of Sighisoara and if we didn't have a car it wouldn't be a good choice. Around the hotel is not so good-looking, and when we arrived in the place I felt a bit disappointed because I thought we could choose a better location to stay. But the hotel inside is very nice and it balanced everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

The photos speak for themselves! Last place you would want to sleep in for a few hours. Checked-in last night at 02:00am and had the worst experience ever. There's not at least one thing that was good. Dirt, smell, rust, stains. The walls are filthy, the bed is not the healthiest place to sleep in.

Free parking available, own restaurant with correct, regular food and drinks. Rooms not too big, not too small. Otherwise clean. Not so close to the city central area, need a car or a taxi to reach it.

Sighisoara is trully wonderful place, beautiful old town with wonderful Clock Tower.and marvelous streets. I won't sey more about the Town, everyone should see it by yourself. Hotel is situated not far from the Old Town, only few minutes walk but between blocks of flats. This is the biggest flaw of the hotel. Because if you want to sit with your colleagues in the hotel's courtyard you should forget about it. The noice is the last thing wanted by the people living around. Hotel is good, food, rooms, everything. Without courtyard.

We stayed at Rex for one night and we enjoyed it. Altough the hotel is not a luxury accomodation, the room was neat and also the bathroom, so we could use it with no problems. We arrived late and, because there was a wedding in the hotel restaurant, the staff arranged us with some good dinner, of course, payed one. All the staff was very kind, from the receptionist to the waiters and the ladies from the kitchen. Moreover, we forgot an iron in the parking lot, they found it and we called to ask about it, they were very kind to deliver it to us with courier. In the end, we declare ourselves satisfied with this accomodation, especially when think about the staff!

We started out for one night in the centre. Lovely! But a bit pricey and loud, because of the churchbells that start at 6.00 a.m . So we moved to Rex. Good value for money. Of course it's not the newest and hippest but it's clean, comfortabele with friendly staff. If you've seen my other rankings you know I love good food and this was another great surprise. The dish that we ordered: kebab with grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes. It really was very good! Better than the number 2 restaurant on the tripadvisor list: Joseph T. The only downsize were the matrasses. You could feel the spiral through the matress, but we fixed that with an extra blanket. Still... we think good value for money!

The only thing nice about this hotel was te staff. Strange amplasament, the surrounding looks like a ghetto. The rooms bathroom was awful, the carpet was stained, the smallest TV I ever seen, and the room had no air conditioning.

Relaxing, silence,Friendly staff, cheap, clean, nice food, good services. The bad part is that is a little bit hidden. But of you ask a taxi driver for sure he will take you there. Free wifi, you can smoke down in the restaurant! I staued one night with my girlfriend in january and the temperature in the room was pleasant, everything was clean, the minibar is quite cheap and you have everithing you need. Nice stay.

We've booked this hotel for one night only, as we were in transit from a long trip and wanted to stop for one day in Sighisoara as well. The booking was made over the phone, for an apartment hosting 4 people. We also informed the host (receptionist, manages, who knows) that we would be arriving late in the evening. About 6PM we had a call from the same person asking us if we're still going to stay there. We confirmed. As we confirmed 90 minutes later when she called again. However, when we arrived, guess what? There were no apartments left. And the other person at the reception had written on her reservation book, ONLY one room for 2 people. Because that's what anybody in their right mind would do after a 4 day trip (4 people), book a room for only 2. So no apartment. But we could have 2 rooms...at extra cost. We didn't have a choice and we took them. On two different floors. Never mind that. We checked in, left the luggage and went out to dinner. Whilst having dinner, 30 minutes later after the check-in, the phone rings again. Asking us if we were still going to check in. In the, now confirmed again, apartment that we originally booked. We explained the situation, and there was no clear explanation. We booked an apartment and now we're into 2 rooms and having to pay extra. Nothing was done about it. And on top of it, when we arrived back to the hotel (you have to ring the bell to be let in, as it was about 3am and the receptionist is sleeping now, clearly being annoyed that she's been awoken) there was no hot water. Because, again a tired receptionist told us, they turned off the hot water boiler....who needs a shower after 10PM anyway? So traveler, before you check in tired at night into Rex hotel, stop by the river and have a good free wash, the water could be warmer and cleaner. Other than that, the room looks tired, same with the bathroom. If this is a 3 star hotel as advertised, then I am the ex king of Spain and my expectations are really too high.

I stayed here for one night and I paid 130 Ron. I have picked this hotel considering the photos posted on their site, but the difference was huge! In reality the furniture is old, the carpet was dirty, the smell was not so good ... in conclusion you seems that are in a very old hotel. :) BUT for 1 night is ok, for a long journey is not recommended .... The staff was friendly and tried to help us. If they will invest some money in the hotel can change the impression.
