Unfortunately, we could only spend one night. This is a place to stay for a few days. The surroundings are amazing and the converted train station into a hotel feels like home. Allocate 2 -3 days for the place and you will not regret. Modern, comfortable, excellently priced and with a special atmosphere.

I had a pleasant enjoyable three days here. It is located outside Castelo de Vide, which makes it very quiet, but you'll probably want to drive into the town. Pensão Destino is great value, comfortable and, as a former railway station, provides an unusual place to stay. Special thanks to Anabel for serving breakfast when I had to leave early. I'm glad your English is good - I can only manage two or three words in Portuguese !

Here is a good place to stay if you travel with car. Ana and her assistant is really kindly and able to share interesting place to visit. The breakfast is simply but you can satisfy with it. I would recommend if you drive for travel based on its location is not that popular.

We thoroughly recommend this converted railway station near Castelo de Vide. The host, Ana, is very welcoming and the location is ideal for visiting nearby Castelo de Vide and Marvao. If you have a car, the roads in the area have very little traffic.

Stayed one night in this quirky ex railway station. Ana and her assistant were great and very helpful. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, a suggestion would be to place the toaster and coffee machine in the dining area for breakfast rather than in the kitchen

We spent 2 nights in this hostel and we were really glad of the choice we made. The place is fantastic: a renovated train station lost in the middle of nature. It has a kind of magic that you are looking for when you go on holiday. Inside the rooms and common spaces are very clean, the decoration is nice. You can use the fully equiped kitchen if needed. Ana, the owner, is a fantastic person who successed in building a unique place.

Me and a group of 10 friends have stayed the last weekend in Pensão Destino. It is a fantastic place, very well located, just 5 min from Castelo de Vide village center. The location is very quiet, as there is nothing else around but nature. We woke up with birds singing! The whole space is very cosy and you can feel like you were in a retreat. The rooms are very nice, very comfortable, with a simple decoration. The living room is the ideal place for the group to reunion and chat around the table, have breakfast, read a magazine or even play some cards (like we did!). The kitchen has all you need to be on your own in terms of meals if you wish to cook. Everything was great, overall. I definitely recommend Pensão Destino to anyone who visits Castelo de Vide or Marvão area! :)

I spent just a night at Pensâo Destino but I plan to go back. It's an old railway station converted into hostel. It's simple and lovely, and at a great price. The rooms are simple, clean, with lots of light. Free wifi, with good connection. More than a hostel it feels like if you're staying in somebody's guestroom (in the good way). There is a small communal kitchen which you can use , as long as you keep everything clean. Breakfast is just as simple and lovely. The owner, Ana, will give you advice on what to see and where to eat in the area.
