Airconditioning was not working. Front desk staffs are not helpful. Buffet Breakfast was terrible. They made me to prepay the entire amount a day before the check-in date to confirm my reservation, even though i booked through booking.com and it said that no pre payment was needed. I paid the whole amount of our stay through their metrobank account as mentioned by their staff. I got no acknowledgement from them after, when i call through the number they used to contact me, it was out of reach. We checked in, i forgot that i already paid the whole amount. Then i had to modify my reservation to cancel a room through booking.com, and they ask me to pay the new amount. I paid in cash, forgetting the online transaction i made. They did not have a sytem to verify if the guest already paid his or her reservation. On our second day, i remembered that i had made an online transaction and requested a refund. But the front desk staffs were not helpful enough and the management was not that into customer service so they said that i must wait for 14 days before they credit it back to my account. I ask them to just refund my 2nd payment because i paid it naman in cash. Then ill wait for 14 days for the change. But this hotel's management was just too inconsiderate having us wait for their final decision. Im still waiting, and we are checking out tomorrow.

When I last visited the Ever O business hotel I thought it was a great place to stay but oh how has the quality dropped. After booking on line on arrival, even though I had booked in for 5 nights I was offered a windowless cave like room. To get a room with windows I had to pay an additional 1200 pesos. Previously the room rate included breakfast but this time it was an additional charge. Previously the room had a bar fridge but this time to have a fridge was an additional 300 pesos a night. The biggest insult was the soap offered in the bathroom . It was so tiny it could hardly be seen. Literally one wipe over the body and it disappeared . Similarly with the toilet roll. Most toilet rolls have a minimum of 150 sheets. The rolls offered had 50 sheets and very hard to get replacements. The saddest part was the five cock roaches killed in the first hour of occupying the room. Sadly the only thing that allows me to give it a 3 rating is the staff.

there were roaches plying the bathroom walls and tiles and even inside the cabinet. i must have swapped more than five. what was happening? lack of window? the dim lights which did not help adding aesthetics to the rooms?the unpleasant odor? or the inefficient tidying tasks? there was no fridge inside the rooms. my bed linen was not replaced when the previous occupant left the room. it still had some staple wires hanging from its fold. plus the smell. i understand we need to save soap and water. but then, would you rather inconvenience a guest and smear your reputation? the bathroom soap is so brittle and rough, it hardly produces lather. and oh, the dental kit is available upon request with additional fees. so don't forget to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. the function hall has a terrible sound system. we had to make do with just three pieces of microphones to be shared by almost a hundred participants, the panel in front and the master of ceremonies. wifi was kinda irritating. you need to renew your requests to get a connection. another thing, don't order the fish matambaka in their menu. they're not fresh. if you're into gelatins for dessert, it's their staple. it just comes in different flavors. otherwise, the rest of their menu is their only saving grace. ever o. ever offensive?

This was my second time in Ever O Business Hotel. The first visit was last year, if I am not mistaken. My week-long stay in this facility was great. I was given with a huge room with matrimonial bed. The room as well as the toilet were clean. Even though my room doesn’t have a window, I still managed to have a comfortable stay. We conducted our event at the top floor, where you can also find the restaurant that serves buffet breakfast and everyday meals. The foods that were served to us during our event were great and tasteful. You can taste the goodness of the local viands. Aside from the friendly and accommodating personnel, one thing that makes this facility good is its location. It is located almost in the center of the city. Local shopping stores, groceries, restaurants, parks and churches are just few steps away from this facility. A memorable place, indeed.

The hotel is strategically located in the city center. Food is okay and better compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Zamboanga. Staff were helpful. Rooms were also better than other hotels we stayed at in the city. I think the best feature is the internet, which is more reliably and speedy than other hotels and which was important to us because we needed it for our work. Only thing I noticed is the noise that carries into the room. Hotel should monitor and advise staff and guests regarding this if they can't sound-proof rooms. Definitely considering to stay here again the next time we are in Zamboanga.

Hi Stayed at a solo room last July PROS 1. Clean room 2. Very accessible 3. Free airport pick up and airport drop off can be arrange for a minimal fee 4. Strong wifi connection 5. Staff were courteous and accommodating 6. Their food at the roof deck is delicious 7. Take advantage of their free safety deposit box available at the reception 8. They allow late check out for a minimal fee. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT 1. The towels i got on the first day was not so clean so i had to ask for another set. I think the shower curtain should also be cleaned cause it’s dirty 2. No hair dryer and clothes iron - i hope that they can provide on request. 3. Emergency lights. I think they need to have emergency lights in the room and the hallways and in the restaurant. Zamboanga has real problems with black outs. I experienced black outs/power outage during my stay and the room was pitch black. I also experience black out while i was eating at their resto. 4. There was another door from my room but it was locked and apparently that is the HR ofc. I think they are moving or fixing things cause it was noisy and people talking out loud from the other room even at 11pm at night. I didn’t mind cause i am a late sleeper but for other guest this might be a nuisance. So i hope they can completely close and seal the door to avoid noises. Overall it was a good stay.

The location of this hotel was okay it’s located on the downtown area walking distance on all shopping area around zamboanga city. From hotel you may go to paseo del mar and barter area by just walking for 5 to 10 minutes only. They offer buffet breakfast and shuttle service from the airport but from hotel going back at the airport you have to pay. The room was okay a bit spacious we stayed at twin bedroom. When I was here before 3 years ago the hotel was new and very nice but now they failed to improve the beauty of the room.

I love to explore on foot the chaotic streets of cities I visit, so that's why I like how the hotel is right smack in the middle of Zamboanga City's busy downtown area, just a few steps away from the city hall, shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but are spic and span and are perfect for quick trips in the city.

The hotel is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Zamboanga life. It is very near the City hall, the Cathedral, the market, the Pershing Plaza and all the malls except KCC Mall. Its location is a really convenient one. The lobby is big and clean but not really cozy. The rooftop restaurant was a surprise to me though. I was thinking of it like a regular canteen similar to all other provincial hotels in the country. I was pleased with how clean it was and how it looked. The restaurant is neat and adorned with flowers. The spaces between tables are more than enough for movements of diners. The free breakfast that came with our room is a plated one. I hope buffet would be offered soon. The room is basic. The staff are friendly and accommodating but takes some time to elicit response from them. With the money paid for, the location and restaurant I'd still recommend this hotel especially if you wish to go around the city by foot.

This was the first time that we spend our few days of stay in Ever O Business Hotel in Zamboanga City. Our office mate in the city booked us in this hotel since it was the only available hotel because almost all of the hotels in Zamboanga City were fully booked with local politicians. We had solo rooms. For my room, it was clean and cozy. The comfort room was also clean. The place to eat breakfast was on the top floor and you can order good food. It was really a place worth remembering.
