A stunning country house set on the edge of the idyllic village of Shere - just a few minutes stroll to the local shops, two pubs, restaurant and village green. Our rooms are all newly refurbished with stunning views of the surrounding Surrey Hills - famous for The Pilgrims Way, cycling and now, local vineyards and Gin distillery. It's a wonderful area for walking, cycling, golfing, exploring or just relaxing. All only 40 minutes from London, Gatwick and Heathrow. We look forward to welcoming you.
Beautiful house, great room, great location. Everything is great about this B.B. Hosts are lovely and helpful! Martin gave us tips to explore the village and it was perfect. I highly recommend. Stayed in the big room and had very good nights of sleep! We had “The Holiday” available for us to watch and it was lovely to explore the village linking the places we visited with the movie. If you are planning to visit Shere this is THE place to stay.

My husband and I traveled to the UK from the US to take in some of the post-royal wedding fun, but wanted to spend some time away from central London. Shere was a perfect place, and Martin and Carole's wonderful B&B couldn't have been nicer. Our room was spacious and comfy, breakfast was delicious, and Martin, Carole and Nick were so kind to us, answering our many questions, helping us get a cab to the airport, and recommending some great hikes to go on and restaurants to eat at. The village of Shere is so charming, and it is a great area to be in if you enjoy the outdoors. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to go home! - Matt & Lynlee

We had the top floor of the house, everything is wonderfully clean and bright - great views across the Surrey Hills. Really lovely hosts who prepared an excellent breakfast for us before our long bike ride and gave some good tips on the area. Would recommend and stay again if we can!

Brilliant and beautiful home! Martin, Carol and Nick's hospitality was at it's best, we were made to feel so welcome!! We had a special family reunion in lovely Shere, and spent the weekend in their luxurious home where attention to detail was paramount. The rooms and bathrooms are stunning, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the amazing breakfast in the gorgeous conservatory looking out into the garden! The location is also perfect, only a short walk to Shere village, as well as some gorgeous country walks - not to mention close to Silent Pools, the Gin distillery, and Albury Organic Vineyard! Thank you all so much for the wonderful warm experience. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend staying at this B&B!

I stayed in the Shere B&B just 2 weeks ago and it was a great experience. Lovely home and the owners Martin & Carol were delightful hosts - they made me feel like family. I awoke every morning to a delicious breakfast served in a beautifully sun-drenched kitchen overlooking the gardens. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk down a charming lane and you are in the middle of Shere, a charming small town with wonderful restaurants, shops, and pubs. I returned in the evening to my very spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom, beautifully decorated. All in all, I would highly recommend Shere B&B - I would definitely love to return.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're looking for a quiet place to get away. Shere has several options for pubs and restaurants, and the village itself is charming. We stayed in the main bedroom which is very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was breakfast, taken in their very spacious kitchen. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed for a night in the one of the upstairs bedrooms. It was very comfortable, peaceful and warm (even on the weekend we visited that snowed and was minus 1 outside!) Nick welcomed us when we arrived and was a great host, even kind enough to bring us up a cup of tea when we arrived. The breakfast served up by Carol was excellent and we enjoyed it very much in the very comfortable (and beautiful) dining room where chat chatted with her, Martin and two other guests. The place is spotlessly clean and oozes with charm, tranquility and class. In search of a relaxing couple of days out of the city we immediately felt welcome and at ease. We only wished we had more time to stay a day or two longer. We hope to return again soon. Top class and highly recommended!

My sister was visiting me in London for a week and we wanted an easy, relaxing getaway from the city. The Shere B&B was exactly what we were looking for! Martin was super helpful leading up to our visit, confirming the best route via public transportation from London. Our room was comfortable and spacious, complete with a copy of The Holiday DVD. The breakfast spread of fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffees and tea was perfect. Martin was happy to draw up a walking map for us based on our requests (country walk, pub, site-seeing scenes from The Holiday). The location is incredibly convenient - there's a bus stop right out front, and you're a short walk from town which has cute shops and a cozy pub. Above all, Martin and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming to us throughout our stay. I will be returning when I'm in need of another weekend away!…
