Stayed our first night as part of our self guided bike tour and again a week later at the end. Quite a walk from the train station with hand luggage. Did not know they offered a pick up, for a fee. Hard to find. Nice hotel fully renovated. We had emailed earlier asking for a room away from the square but alas that was not the case Consequently the room was noisy, they had late night drinking outside on patio square area. Good location for walking around town with lots of restaurant choices. Breakfast was included and good. But when we came back, they were short staffed and it was difficult getting breakfast in time before our train. We again asked for a different quieter room for our last night, a week later but told NO they were booked . Staff helpful.

What a beautiful hotel, and an amazing service !!! We got to the place following Google directions and for sure got the ticket, since you shouldn’t drive into the town, the manager wrote an email to the Police to make sure that we don’t pay the fee !!! Everyone was so nice and helpful, it made our stay absolutely fabulous !!! The place is so close to every possible attraction, you cannot beat it !!! Truly recommend it to everyone !!!

For a four star italian restaurant this was rather embarrassing. It’s full in tourist place and we ended up here bc TA gave it 4stars (not trusting this page anymore when it comes to food) It was simply put not only the worst dinner we had in 2 weeks here in beautiful Puglia, it was also the most expensive. Fish dry, potatoes were almost raw, waiters were not organized. Afterwards, we went an bought some fabulous cheese and prosciutto in a local store and had a fantastic dinner at our air bnb.

It is not a 5 star hotel, nor does it have a sea view, however Palazzo Indelli punches above its weight in many other ways. It has a great location overlooking the Piazza Garibaldi, the main square in the old town. it is a 50 metre walk to the port and the ocean sea. We had a second floor room overlooking the Piazza, amazingly the noise level was low as long as you shut the window, the a/c in our room was fine. Staff were very helpful, breakfasts were good also, our room was not luxurious, but had all the items you would expect and a comfy bed. If we go back to Monopoli we would book the Indelli again.

This small and elegant hotel sits just inside the historical district of Monopoli. Piazza Garibaldi is lively, and so rooms facing the square will not be quiet, but we felt the trade off was well worthwhile for the view onto the Piazza and the energy. There are rooms in the quieter, back of the hotel if you want. The staff are wonderful, and the breakfast is one of the best you will find anywhere. Monopoli is a great base to explore neighboring towns like Polignano a Mare, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, Barim and even Matera (a little further away and worth a stay of it's own). This part of the city is beautiful and you can walk right out onto the Lungomare for a stroll along the seawall. There are variety of parking options close by. Some free. Some paid. White marked spaces and areas are free. Blue marked are paid. It takes a little time to get oriented to that, but once you are, it is not difficult to manage and there are many options within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

While the place itself is not bad, my big concern was the price we had to pay to stay at a seaside town - without any Sea views!. However, the main Piazza location kind of makes up for the view the vibrant scene of the old square creates some magic as the sun goes down. LOCATION: Located in the main town square next to the port. DINE + DRINK: Nice Lobby level bar and a couple of good Restaurants located on the terrace in the Main square. ROOM: We stayed in Room 220, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Piazza; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Decent quality cosmetics FACILITIES: No Gym or POol, just pure Puglian Chill! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi ( 100 Mbps) that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - but PREDOMINANTLY IN ITALIAN ONLY!

Hotel is in a good location right on the square. We didn't eat in the restaurant but had the bar menu one night and the pasta all'assina was amazing, a must try but they only serve it midweek. I'm giving 3 stars, as there is no space to relax with sun loungers after a long day sightseeing. Also, rooms are dark and only a few have views. I had a room with a small window that looked onto a wall. But the bed was comfy with plenty of wardrobe space. Apparently only the family/triple rooms have balconies. Staff were really helpful. Monopoli is lovely for 2 days, I would move on elsewhere. Beach wasn't very nice and beach clubs nearby were not worth it. But a beautiful village to visit.

What can I say but how fabulous the hotel and staff are! Especially Marilena! She has gone above and beyond for me! From helping me organise my wedding! To every fine detail! She is such an asset to this beautiful family run hotel! The owners are so lovely! Couldn’t do enough for me! Me and my family and most of my guests stayed at this hotel and we all loved it! Food is delicious, gorgeous breakfast! Bar staff are fabulous! Couldn’t fault it! In such a fabulous location in the busy square! I absolutely love monopoli. Don’t understand any negative reviews from this hotel because it’s simply stunning! Thank you again for the best week! Would definitely return!!!

Lies, lies, and more lies. I do not know how this hotel has 4 stars. Really truly, the staff are horrendous. When I checked in, they told me that and food or drink purchased at the hotel restaurant and bar is 10% off for guests. Great! I thought that since I am staying here, I can enjoy the food and drinks and also have a bit of a discount. WRONG. When it was time to check out, they told me no. They do not offer this 10% discount for their guests. Why even mention something like this if you do not follow through with it? It was a dirty tactic for the owners to keep me on property rather than go eat at the many other restaurants in the town. Also, there is NO FREE PARKING onsite. I got a 29€ ticket for parking near the hotel. There is a parking lot 15 minutes away and the lady at the front desk told me that any time I need to get to my car or go back and forth, just to call the front desk and they would send a car to come pick me up. This was another lie, as this service to and from the parking lot costs 5€ each time and must be booked in advance. Imagine my shock when I parked my car after a long day of exploring the region and called them to come pick me up. It was so hot outside and they just left me to find my way back to the hotel in the sweltering heat. Do not be fooled by the sleazy owners. This is their personal home and they try to milk ask much money as possible from their guests. I am shocked and embarrassed that I spent so much money staying in such a horrific environment. The only saving grace are the very kind restaurant and bar staff. They are genuinely very friendly. The people at the front desk, however, need to learn about customer service and stop lying to their guests. It is no wonder that the hotel was empty the entire time I stayed here, while the town was full of people and tourists.
