Went here for our anniversary dinner while on holiday visiting Puy du Fou. It’s a gorgeous restaurant with seating inside and out. The service was excellent and the food amazing! It’s on the pricier end of the budget but worth what we paid as everything...tasted so lovely. The kids portions were a little on the small side but they loved the flavours (if you have teens/big eaters they’ll need adult portions). We will definitely visit here again if we return to the area, absolutely loved it.More

This is the place to go if you want to have top quality food, paired with serious wines at very decent prices. At our table, everyone ordered something different, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. This is a serious establishment, well-worth your visit.

Covid lockdown rule changes and Friday lunchtime inside at Civilisations (due to inclement weather). What a wonderful experience. First visit but everyone so pleasant and efficient, even our small dog was made welcome!. The food was delicious. We have booked for a second visit.

We were staying at the nearby B&B hotel and had a lovely dinner at Civilisations. The staff was super friendly. They even helped us plan our day at Puy du Fou. And there was a wide variety of offerings on the menu and it was...good value for money. We were quite impressed given the remote location of the restaurant.More

We are here after the second day of our visit to Puy du Fou. Tired and reluctant to drive into town, this was convenient, being just a few steps from the Hotel Ibis. We were having a look at the menu outside the door when...a man, I assume the owner, burst out of the door exclaiming that it was warm inside. He cheekily invited us in and we felt unable to refuse. We were asked if we were from the Ibis and received a warm welcome inside and we were seated quickly. There was a good choice on the menu and despite the rather glossy (un-French) decor, there was a children's menu. Everything appeared good quality and the meals were excellent. Portions were on the larger side of normal for French restaurants. Bread was served as individual rolls rather than the traditional basket. We chose a carafe of red which was pretty good. Staff were attentive despite the restaurant being busy. Diners appeared to be largely locals and we saw some people being turned away without a reservation. The building itself from the outside is far from inspiring as it is located between an Ibis and a B&B budget hotel and a bit isolated looking. The area appears ripe for further development and I did not have high hopes of a decent meal, fearing that it would be touristy affair. Far from it. Not sure if English is spoken .More

Was staying in Ibis yards away tried this resturant for convenience. The clientele were local which was always a good sign. Despite our basic French and staff's little English we managed to decipher the menu. The beef was good and melted in your mouth. The...minature selection of cakes on the sweet menu was delicious. Staff were friendly and tried to help us choose our foodMore
