In Sicily you can get great food almost anywhere, although you'll never get such hands on service, variety of tastes and wines, and get to appreciate the real art behind hospitality and really enjoying the experience of eating out. Mattia and Rosabla are a incredible...service team, and Chef Salvatore is a living legend being the youngest Michelin 2 star chef. Highly highly highly recommended.More

This 2 star Michelin restaurant deserves a third star!! The setting and elegance of this restaurant is second to none. A true very fine dining experience. The chef is obviously brilliant and highly talented . Every bite was better than the previous one. We had...the tasting menu with exotic wine pairing. It was a gastronomical experience of a lifetime. The service was absolutely impeccable . A 10 star rating from me!!!More

Wonderfully romantic dinner in an elegant Taormina Hotel slightly away from the madness in the central part of the city. The pistachio pesto tortellini served has ruined us for all other pasta. The wine pairings were equally outstanding. Definitely deserves their Michelin star. Be prepared...for at least $400 per person but we’ll worth every penny.More

What an amazing evening we had. My wife and I celebrated 30 years of marriage. Everything was amazing, the food, atmosphere, service, serving utensils. We took a 7 course meal which was definitely enough for us. The desserts are incredibly delicious. Small bites of wonderful...flavors. 28-year-old youngest chef in the world with 2 Michelin stars. It is highly recommended!More

Amazing experience. Beautiful setting albeit very quiet but the waiters did make it a show of food so it didn’t feel weird in the end. The service was impeccable. The food was incredible and literally thought I was going to die by the end of...it as it just kept coming. All dishes were beautifully presented, innovative and tasted delicious. We also did the wine pairing which was very good and enjoyed the story behind each wine served. Didn’t even realise it was 2 Michelin starred when booked but it definitely deserves those stars. Yes expensive, but worth it if you have the budget. Very glad we went, it was the food highlight of our 18 nights in Sicily.More

Flavor wise of the three Michelin Star tasting menus I had in Italy this was my favorite. It wasn't that it was so original, it's just that they consistently used ingredients that I really liked the taste of. To be frank, I am not entirely...sure what they even were. But chocolate is one of them. It's a quiet private patio restaurant behind the Ashbee Hotel which is a block away from the Messina Port side entrance to the pedestrian part of the town where the cabs and buses let you off. As it's outdoors it was a little cool and there were a few bugs about. The bill came to 252e. There was a mix up with my cocktail, so they didn't charge for it. They don't show a list of the wine options by the glass. But be forewarned, the glass of wine from virgin soil in Etna was 60e when the bill came.More

This is fine dining at its best. We love good food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The first night we chose the 5 course degustation menu and the second night the 7 course. Both wonderful with some overlaps. We did not choose the wine...pairing but sommelier provided superb advice on what to choose. The food was not only wonderful but each course (and amouse bouche) was a work of art and beautifully presented. I cannot rate this restaurant high enough. My pictures show what I mean. There are only 18 covers so booking is essential.More

After we had a wonderful dining experience at the St. George last summer, we returned this year and were looking forward to our dinner. At first, we were a little disappointed to learn that Chef Delfo Schiaffino left the restaurant. But the new Chef, Salvatore...Iuliano, and his team kept the restaurant at the same level. We had the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairing and enjoyed a wonderful evening with great food and service. We can only recommend this restaurant and will be happy to return next time we are in Taormina.More
