I have been searching for the right Tom Kha Kai and this is the only place that takes me right back to Thailand. That’s just the starter, hands down best place in town for Asian food.

Great experience, from the gong to the service and food. The red snapper was incredible and I would not mind eating it everyday. I will definitely come back!
We visited without any reservation on a Thursday night around 6:15 on the strength of the tripadvisor reviews. The place was empty but did fill up around 7pm, where Ted Thai seats around 30 people and has a colorful decor, with it's own money-tree! The...menu is extensive with the history of the owner and special recommendations written on each table. We chose fishcakes (Tod man pla; house speciality) and deep fried vegetables (Pak chub peng tod), both delicious with their own dipping sauces. For the main we had Pad Krapau (house speciality) and Pad Bai Krapau (3 chillies) again both very authentic and filling. I managed to survive the 3 chillies but didn't want to up it to the next notch (7 chillies). Big Alpha beers for 5 euro each, but avoid the wine as it is poor quality (thus no 5 stars). Maybe it is not expected for wine to compliment a thai meal but it is the choice of many europeans.More
If you want to experience authentic Thai cuisine in The Netherlands go to Pêt Thai. The restaurant is relaxed and the food is great! I eat here several times a year. Each time I can find an excuse to travel for two hours to Maastricht,...I take it and make sure I eat at this family business.More
Best Thai in Maastricht; Fresh food and homegrown herbs/ chilipepers! Very dedicated family to serve you the real Thai experience.
Just near our hotel , a very nice, little Thai restaurant. Not too much of a choice, however all dishes are made by Thai people so this is really a guarantee for authentic food ! They also propose take away. Soups, salads, nice noodle dishes...and so on. So just go there and you'll feel like in Thailand. Would recommend to reserve as not as much place. The owner is sponsoring a school in the North of Thailand, very beautiful idea. You can leave money for this excellent purpose.More
Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food! The Thai cooks did a fantastic job preparing the food and the servers were very friendly. If you have ever been to Thailand you will know right away this food is authentic. Good size portions so you will not...leave hungry and the prices are reasonable as well. I have to say this is the best Thai food in Maastricht. I will definitely return!More
The sateh was very nice with a lot of real little pieces of nut. Went for a spicy (2 peppers) dish. I am used to hot/spicy food, and this was great. Food is made with love to the food, and left me walk away happy.
we went with some friends and ordered chicken benteng and other chicken dishes... we asked the lady to tell us if spicy level 3 is ok in scale of 0 to 15.. she told us yes it's less. Then we ordered it found it really...very very spicy... we couldn't hold our breath with that. i can't imagine why they give a scale of 0 to 15 while they already have very high spicy food at 3.. it's confusing people . They should have adjusted the scale so that people get real information and not getting fooled by scale and leave food on plateMore
Chicken main dishes are great, but the best thing was coconut soup, havent tasted a better one so far. Staff is friendly but don't test them wearing a tie.
Good food and allergy friendly. Good service in busy place. Hole in the wall place with excellent food.
I always look for good authentic Thai food. Having spent a lot of time all over Thailand, I am spoiled. Pet Thai is a rare find. A restaurant that serves Thai food as it is prepared in Thailand, and not recreated for western tastes. You...can order food mild if you want, but even "2 chilis" out of the possible option of "5 chilis" was enough for this child-friendly patron.More
Food tasted great and fresh. also many vagan options available. Busy place, you might need to make a reservation. Very reasonably priced.
We had a combination of four dishes to share and everything was simply delicious. Having spent a long time in Thailand and Asia in general, I can say that the food is very authentic. If you go for the Tom Yam soup, make sure you...have a high tolerance for spicy food. (It's very good, but very hot..) In many other dishes the spiciness can be defined by your liking. Definitely recommended and we would surely come back when in Maastricht.More
I tried this place tonight for the first time on the strength of the menu, the fact that they will prepare the food according to your taste. I love Thai food, and I like my food spicy, so I asked for the 5 rating, ie...the spiciest. The waiter did warn me, and he was right. The food was exactly as I asked for. But take the spiciness away, and what you have is fantastic freshly prepared Thai food, definitely the best I have had outside Asia, and as good as any food I had within Asia. The prices are good, the portions are huge, and the staff were very friendly. Tonight was a takeaway, we will be back for a sit down meal many times in the future.More
