What a great experience! Very friendly people and absolute delicious food. We both had fish, of course and it was perfect. Deserts were also really tasty.

( From a local ). Asked for a takeaway Mariscada and Sapateira for the 25th december after checking out the pictures that they provided on Facebook. It looked like a nice plate but unfortunately it was a 125 euros disappointment. I don't know if it...was mistake but i did contact the restaurant and unfortunately receive no explanation. It was my ( plus family and friends) first and last visit To this restaurant. Ps: please consider that in the fotos there is a handful of friend shrimps and mussels that are missing but i believe that you get the idea of what you get for 125 euros.More
Worth the visit! Fatima is the owner and is hands on working the floor. Deserts are amazing as well as the seafood. The seafood rice was to die for! Enough for 4.
Great chargrilled fish with seafood rice and vegetables. Great local atmosphere and service. Worth a visit when in Aveiro.
We came here for dinner and it was really happy with our choice . Very good food (we took fish, sea rice , some vegetables and wine ). Delicious . If I visit this town again I’ll come in this restaurant for sure . Antonio...served us and we feel like at home.More
We came here on a Friday night and got there just after it opened. Good job we did. By 8.30 all the tables were taken with around 60 covers. Nossa Casa specialises in seafood, particularly a shellfish platter, which many of the locals tucked into....We enjoyed giant prawns in garlic, followed by John Dory, a fish we don’t see often in the U.K. Both dishes cooked to perfection. This is not a fancy restaurant, but it serves excellent well cooked grilled fish. We would definitely go back. We left around 9.30 and there was a queue outside of locals wanting a tableMore
Had an excellent platter. Lovely staff, was very busy, but that's a good sign. Mostly locals, but the main guy spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. Great, reasonably priced wine.
We were here for dinner. We ordered octopus for two people, this time it was below my expectations, because it was too chewy. Service seemed to be too busy and a noisy event went on in the other room of the restaurant. Maybe all this...was linkedMore
We arrive to lunch in a Sunday with the restaurant full, but the staff was very efficient and sited us in about 15 minutes. The seafood was very tasty and the fresh fish as high quality too. Only the dessert (Mango Mousse) was not OK,...because of the lack of consistency. It is not a cheap restaurant - about 30€/person -, but if you are at Aveiro it worth's a visit.More
This is a very local restaurant of the main streets. But it is worth going for. The specialties are fish dishes. It all looked good and tasted good. The vinho verde was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly.

We ordered ensopado de peixe, waited about 45 minutes and then got a huge pan full of potatoes and just few pieces of fish for 35 euros!
I ate the codfish which was really good. Extremely large portion. I eat a lot, and this would have been definitely enough for two persons if you have a medium sized stomach or if you have some starters. Friendly staff too. Great place.
Not far from the center it is a restaurant where the Aveiro bourgeoise goes. The food – mainly the fish dishes - is good and the service is fast and kind. The price is fair for what you get but it is not a cheap...restaurant. Enjoy!More
We came here based off Google reviews for lunch. This place was full of locals and we were the only tourists there. We ordered the 2 pax mixed seafood rice dish for 45 eur. The serving size could easily feed 4! The dish had lobster,...mussels, prawns, and shrimp. They definitely did not cut us short on the seafood!! Though our lunch was pricey I think it was a great value for what we got. Service was also very nice.More
