Delicious food and a great and passionate chef. Great experience with good friends. Meals are made with local and honest ingredients, typo slow food !

We were looking for a place to eat in January where the most restaurant are closed for the season and had the chance to end up here on a lunch. Being a vegan it's not always easy while travelling and many restaurants don't offer that...much or are negative to give us food. But here we were taken in as we were member of the family. The mother was so friendly and caring and her son did really a great job even though he did not expected us and invented just good plats for us.More

Nice place with great dishes, well prepared and good taste. Service should improve a little bit and people should be more kind and available. In complex good experience even I am considering a little expensive comparing some other restaurant in Loano.

The food was up to my expectations, the service friendly and the price reasonable. The house wine was ok, in any case they offered several other options. Plus to the dessert!

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. The way the patron explained the menu we were expecting some interesting Ligurian cooking. However I fear it was re-heated or frozen. We had the black rice and prawn dish which was stodgy and the prawns were...probably frozen. The beef dish with polenta was uninteresting although the pork with red cabbage was slightly more inspiring. Maybe on a cold January night we shouldn't expect any more from a seaside resort.More

At the very far Eastern end of the budello, with a door into the caruggi and another on the beach promenade, this is a cozy and welcoming restaurant. The interior is true to the tradiitonal mariner's bar setting just slightly updated with some paintings on...the stone walls. On the seafront, there is also a pleasant sunroom. The restaurant supports the Slow Food Movement and has several dishes featuring protected regional specialties. From the warm fresh bread and the superbly cooked pasta courses through two excellent and creative fish dishes, we were very pleased with our lunch. The wine list is short, but you will find some nice vintages to go with the serious cooking. The chef owner is not afraid of using some interesting spices and herbs. It was nice to have some delicious vegetables with our main courses, something which is too rare in Liguria despite the ready access to fine produce. On a quiet winter afternoon, there were no desserts, but our host gave us a pleasant mini-marinated fruit palate cleanser and a good cup of coffee on the house. The menu is not extensive, but there were a number of other dishes we would try. This is an address we will certainly keep in mind when we are in Loano. The prices are fair but reflect the quality and complexity of the presentations.More

We've had dinner here few days ago. We noticed the Slow Food sign and we decided to enter. It's a cozy small restaurant in Loano, close to the sea. The service was excellent, kind and friendly. The choice of meals was not huge, but very...interesting. All the meal is based on local products, and the quality is excellent. We had a starter and some pasta, all fish-based. Unfortunately we were not hungry enough to try the dessert, but looking at other tables' orders it looked amazing! Coffee is prepared in Italian moka, lovely. Recommended!!More

Here you eat typical Ligurian food, but originally presentated. Everything smells en tastes delicious, the service is very friendly. Try the raw fish, it's so fresh you can imagine the fish swimming in the sea just a few hours before.
