Three of us went out for a meal tonight after a long and tiring day at Puy du Fou. We visited La Laurentaise where we were welcomed by really friendly staff. We elected to sit outside in the area across the road from the restaurant...and were soon enjoying drinks whilst we studied the extensive menu. We were soon devouring scrumptious pizzas and then it was scouring the dessert menu, where we chose the Creme Brulee, and certainly not disappointed with the choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and could not fault anything about La Laurentaise.More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the gîte we were staying at in le Puy St Bonnet just down the road. We highly encourage you to book in advance, as this place was quite busy. No wonder, the staff are friendly...and the food is great. We all had pizzas, but there are pasta, salad and meat options too. There is a specials menu board and there is a good variety of food on offer. There is even a kebab pizza! The kids menu was delicious, judging by the fact that both heart-shaped pizzas were devoured to the very last crumb in record time. There was a good variety of desserts and the tiramisu was excellent. Generous portions and good quality ingredients make this restaurant stand out from the crowd. The staff speak English and they very kindly found room for us when things were already very busy. The food was great value for money. We will definitely be going back to sample some more of the food when we next stay at the gîte on our annual visit to the Puy du Fou.More

How lucky are we. On a rainy rainy night in Saint-Laurent -Sur-Sevre we stopped in front of the Basilica and found La Laurentaise. Authentic Italian Pizza ... we had the Napolitano and a chèvre salad. For price/quality head here. Phil and Rita Neumark ... San...Francisco CaMore

What a wonderful experience in a beautiful little pizzeria. Very welcoming staff and fantastic food. Had visited before in 2017 and it’s as good as ever. Be sure to book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out.

A gem of a restaurant. Best pizzas ever, all fresh ingredients - as well as home made pasta and exceptional salads. We ate here three nights in a row and always thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Did I mention the delicious desserts too? Great atmosphere -...such friendly hosts.More

Would recommend booking this restaurant in holiday season, as it was very busy. Thankfully the host of our B&B was able to get us a table outside, in the very pretty square. Food was delicious, we all agreed they were the best pizzas we ever...had. We weren't surprised to see the numerous awards that the restaurant has won for the quality of food that they serve. Service was excellent despite the language barrier. My wife got a Creme de Menthe instead of a Peppermint Tea, but we just laughed and shared it between us! If we are ever back in this beautiful part of France we will definitely return.More

To be fair, there aren't many restaurants to choose from in Saint Laurent sur Sevre, but this must be the best. Make sure you book, it is small and they get busy. Went there with my wife and daughter. They both had pizzas and I...had escalope. All food was excellent. We shared a half carafe of wine and finished with a coffee and all for around £35. Service was prompt and very friendly - would definitely go there again.More

Don't order anything but pizza in this restaurant. It's the chef's speciality and there are certificates to prove it all over the walls. It is by far the best pizza base I've ever had in a restaurant. We tried the day's special, which had goat's...cheese and coppa (an Italian ham), among other things, served with salad, and it was delicious. The pizza desserts are also worth trying, but you'll be stuffed like a Christmas turkey afterwards. The welcome was warm and friendly. Will definitely go back when we're next in the area for the Puy du Fou.More

Great welcome from owner who brought us menus in English and French. Childrens pizza was sliced into small squares, and both children enjoyed the food. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Ok! When you enter a restaurant and there are diplomas on the walls..... Read them! I didn't, the rest of my party did, they got the best pizzas I have tried in years, I got a mediocre pasta :-/ You really must book a table...if you can, it was completely full, with loads of take away orders coming in and people, in the end, eating on the terrace in the cold and rain - it was worth it! Highly recommend!More

We arrived without a reservation, and were able to take out our pizzas within 30minutes. We paid Euro39 for 5 large pizzas. The church opposite is amazing and the river nearby is very picturesque.

Ridiculously awesome pizza. Potatoes and cream sauce on a pizza? Yes, please! Service was great, beer was cold, and salad was fresh. So good! Sit outside, you can't beat the view!
