Casual. Near the Danube. Good service. Only had mains, both looked and tasted good. Would be happy to return.

Ham was absolutely fantastic! Pastas were also delicious. Our server could have been nicer- he was abrupt and rude and made us feel unwanted.

We had a group meal on our wine trip as we were staying in the adjacent Zenit Hotel. Pleasant food with an Italian theme, lots of local cold cuts and cheese and an excellent selection of Hungarian wines. Pleasant service but not very busy.

This restaurant came recommended and we visited on 2 January 2023. Lovely restaurant and food was good but very let down by very cold staff. We arrived and were shown to our table in icy silence by an unsmiling man. This lack of customer care...continued all evening. Very off putting. Spoils the experience.More

We were staying at Zenit Palace hotel and this restaurant is next door. It was lovely, food of a very high standard, freshly prepared. Best food we ate in Hungary. My companions had the ravoli beef consume and pappardelle bolognese which they said was delicious....I had the lasagna which I very much enjoyed. Some staff struggled a little with English but there was always another member around who could help out. We really enjoyed the food and came back a second time!More

This place was right across the street from our hotel and we're pretty much always in the mood for pasta so it seemed like a decent enough choice. The giant, what I assume is a pig leg, outside the door was a little bit off...putting to my vegetarianism but I charged on regardless. The dining area is pretty big and there were plenty of open tables. We made a reservation but did not need one. Communication with our server was a little bit challenging because her English was basic but when she wasn't sure, a manager or another staff member came over to clarify. We started with the burrata salad which consisted of a nicely-sized burrata ball lying on a bed of arugula surrounded by cherry tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. This was very enjoyable. GF ordered the pappardelle bolognese which she savored. I ordered the pesto gemelli which was served with another hunk of arugula and I appreciated receiving my share of greens for the day. This was delicious. We ordered an apple cake dessert which was a skimpy portion but this is probably for the best. No other complaints. This was a very solid meal.More

Raviolis undercooked, really bad quality. Dry and tasteless. Mozzarella salad also not good. Simple dish but still way off.

Disappointed. My main course was chicken and it was so dry and tasteless that almost impossible to chew. Pity because the service and wine was good. Don’t know if it was a one off but I am not coming back

Was lucky enough to stumble upon this place when visiting Budapest from the UK. Our experience was amazing. Firstly, the decor of the place is really unique and creates a really relaxed atmosphere for diners to enjoy. The food was some of the best we...had when holidaying in Budapest. We started off with the ‘Gambas Pill Pill’ which was excellent. The flavours were amazing and prawns were so fresh. Then I had the ravioli which was delicious, my only criticism is there wasn’t enough, but you often get that with ravioli when served in a restaurant. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Budapest and will be sure to return if I am ever in Budapest again. Thank youMore

Disappointed from reading previous reviews and time out saying a top ten. Little ambience only about 4 tables being used at 9pm and menu didn’t have cheese /meat boards etc it was supposed to. Maybe it’s too early in season. My gnocchi was nice and...piping hot but ox cheek wasn’t that hot and very little flavour and dried out meat.it’s attached to next door hotel and all in all didn’t feel like a cosy Italian. Left deciding not to even try coffee, desserts really disappointed!More
