Delicious food, with a menu full of reinterpretations of Hungarian dishes. The place was packed with customers at lunchtime, and the waiters were polite and prompt. Overall, everything was super okay.
Thank you very much for your review
A nice place with very good food especially if you want to have a traditional hungarian meal. The staff are friendly and helpful even if the place is always full
Avoid the salad (my fault, I guess I should have stuck with Hungarian dishes). Drenched with balsamic vinegar and tasteless tomatoes (I tried them since in other restaurants they were fine) Also very noisy.
A fantastic restaurant for any occasion with authentic Hungarian food cooked to perfection. The team is excellent and working seamlessly together. Everything is on time, kind, perfectionists to the last bit! Welcoming atmosphere and adjusting to any situation!
Great to read your review, we are glad you had a great experience. Looking forward to see you next time
Amazing restaurant! We got lucky with a walk in table, customer service was fantastic, didn’t have to wait long for the food at all. Portion sizes are big too! Highly recommend!
Thank you very much for your review, lovely to read!
We ate good. The portions are big enough! We don't like that they charge us the tip without asking! This it is not obligatory! So they should ask. The environment is nice and reminds bar at the 70's
Dear Reviewer, thank you for your comment. We do not charge tip, we have a service charge that is stated on the menu - quite common in all Hungarian restaurants.
I had the Honey Mustard Mangalica pork chop and have to say it was one of the best meals I have had. The flavour and quality of the Mangalica cannot be compared to an ordinary pork chop. This was simply an outstanding flavourful meal and...definitely the highlight of our city break. The food was the star of the show but there is also a great atmosphere and friendly welcoming staffMore
Thank you very much for youre review, we are glad you had a great experience. Mangalica is a real Hungarian treasure.
When we checked into the Hotel Vision, the receptionist asked if we needed restaurant recommendations. I showed our list and she thought Menza was a great place. It’s always good to have a local approve. We would recommend making a reservation because on a Wednesday...night at 5:00, the restaurant was getting full. I ordered the pork tenderloin with wild mushroom sauce and really enjoyed it. My husband thought his Hungarian goulash and an order of peppers with sauerkraut were fantastic and definitely memorable.More
Thanks a lot for your review, happy to read, you were satisfied. Looking forward to meet you next time
I was initially expecting really great things from Menza, I have pre-booked a table and the place was really busy. I ordered the roast beef with onion rings, however it came out as a steak cooked rare, with a huge pile of onion rings (which...were tasty) with chips and a watery sauce. Overall the meal was very average and the place as a whole was over rated. It’s not expensive but the food isn’t impressive. Service was quick and servers are clearly busy but still friendly enough.More
We are disappointed to read your review. You should have informed your waiter, once you are not satisfied with the quality of your meals, we can adjust it on site.
The feel is like the Hungarian “Olive Garden”. I hope it was just the two dishes we order but the roast beef I ordered was very dry and the duck my wife ordered was tasteless.. I heard some good things about the restaurant, but seems...like the hipe wasn’t worth the visit. Our experience was very disappointing. We will make sure not to go back.More

The best restaurant to eat in Budapest. An excellent option from all aspects. Excellent service, very nice dishes, the local dishes like goulash and the beef stew were just amazing. Very good prices. i wish i had more days to visit this restaurant again
Thank you very much for your review
Had an excellent meal here at the recommendation of a local colleague and I can see why it's so highly rated. We went on a busy Saturday night (reservations recommended) and the restaurant was very busy with locals, always a good sign for a tourist...looking to dine where the locals eat! It is much larger inside than it appears, with a delightful menu comprised of both seasonal items on a changing menu and your favorite Hungarian meals. Highly recommended the goulash with noodles and the apple strudel for dessert. Service was excellent and everything was very reasonably priced. I would recommend having a meal here.More

Great place to have dinner. Centrally located with huge portions and excellent service. The tiramisu was top. Average prices.
Thank you for your review
Really good place - food, service, friendliness. Great location, 10 mins walk from the opera house, any time of day. Seems always busy, so might want to book.
Thank you for your recommendation.
