Good coffee and orange juice but Natas and bola de Berlin were not very tasty. Sad story for other good reviews here on Trip advisor. 👎🏻

We stumbled upon this place by accident, and decided to try their cakes. They were so fresh and delicious. We returned to try the home made ice cream, and that too was great. Prices are reasonable. See you next year.

For me the pastels de nata de Pastelaria San Antonio are the best ones in Lisbon. Certified for 2019 ;-). Made fresh in store - constantly. Very friendly staff. Right below the Castelo de S Jorge. Just try it out!
This is a really popular cafe and bakery The custard tarts are to die for. They have a lovely dining section on the first floor to drink your coffee and eat your tart Highly recommend the place. A milk coffee and custard tart is 3...Euro. Slightly high by local standardsMore
Really good pastries here. The cream pastries are my favourite but the pasteis nata are excellent. It is counter service and in the tourist season the queue can be long. I’ve seen complaints on tripadvisor regarding the queue length. You can’t have it both ways...- great product at excellent prices and you will get queues. The alternative is go somewhere where the food is poor and the prices high you will have no queues.More
Pasteis de St Antonio are really a must if you happen to go to Costa. The atmosphere is excellent the cakes produced by them are really awesome. From the famous Pastel de St Antonio to the equally delicious Bola de Berlim going through a lot...of many other so delicious .... You really have to give a bite and sit by the enormous pinetrees in the morning or on the hot afternoons.More
The lady at the desk is really rude and stressed out. We were waiting while she was calling. Didn't ask to heat our good and gave it cold. Good food though.
The staff was generally unfriendly. Didn’t feel welcome. It could just be the people working at the time we came, but I likely won’t be back. There are many great (and friendly) places in Lisbon to eat... why waste time where people are unwelcoming.
We happened upon this bakery after wandering down from the Castelo; we thought the Natas were the best we had in Lisbon. The one thing to remember is you have to request cinnamon if you want it; they don't give it by default. The texture...of the tarts here was more pleasing than the tarts at other places. We were there just before lunch and there was no queue. Natas cost about 1E each.More
Genuinely the best custard tart we tried throughout our 12 day road-trip around Portugal. It surpassed those in the centre, the algarve, even those in Belem. We loved being able to watch the chef through the glass and the service was fast and polite! Most...of all the pastry was crisp and flaky, while the very centre of the nata remained very soft and gooey, unlike many of the overcooked nata we tried. You have to have at least one in Lisbon!More
We stayed in Alfama, just about 300m from this Pastelaria. Our breakfast ritual was to walk there and have 3-4(!) pastel de nata (or Portugese tart, as we called it in Australia) with our coffee. The service is a bit slow, but the coffee is...great and the quality of the tart is absolutely excellent. The place itself has a great young vibe. We will return!More
The most delicious pastel de nata I have ever had and papaya lemonade ! Nice, a bit hipster atmosphere and great music Thanks
In and around Lisbon you can find good places to have a nice traditional pastel de nata. An obvious and famous location is Belem. But if you are staying closer to Alfama, you need to try the ones from Pastelaria Santo Antonio. They also have...many other delicious bites there and are very patient and friendly with tourists.More
My Mrs. went on a bit of a custard tart trip during our time in Portugal. We stumbled over this place on one of our walks and so obviously had to sample what was on offer. She really liked it (to me it was just...like all the other tarts I'd tried in Portugal!) However, it was nice inside, the staff were friendly and spoke English - I'd eat here again.More
If you have a sweet tooth, you have to visit. My mouth is watering just to think of that place. Breakfast there is a must.
