This was our first meal in Costa da Caparica, and unfortunately it wasn't very nice. My chicken pie was cold in the middle, and the fish was bland. The atmosphere was relaxed, it was in a nice area, and the staff were friendly enough, but...the food let them down.More

Chosen this place for a quick bite to eat, as it was next to our hotel. Some of the food is ready prepared and you can also choose few plates of dishes they have to cook on order. We ordered chick peas, tortilla, sardines. I...really Liked tortilla, it was made with bacalao and you can also order it for lunch as a set menu together with a drink for 5euro. Service was pleasant, but struggled a little, waiters don’t speak enough English. My sardines were fried and, although, I prefer mine grilled, you couldn’t taste the oil much, these came out crunchy and light. They also have dish of the day that includes a drink, check what it is, it is not on the menu. Overall the food was tasty enough, tapas style.More

Had shrimps and carb menues, and they were tasty but small. Felt like ”tapas”. You need to order at least 2x menues. Otherwise you leave hungry. The WC was special... you have never experienced something like their WC (you either like it... or hate it).

Had amazing salted cod dish, huge grilled prawns and tasty ham. Lovely bread and dips and a carafe of the House Prosecco, perfect for a relaxed lunch with the girls! Great service from lovely staff.

I don’t know if the bald guy on the bar is the boss/manager - if he is, he s the worst one - talk very bad to the waiters, never get a smile : king of guy you don’t understand how they can run a...restaurant! The food was really really bad especially the cod/eggs/potatoes. On top of that they didn’t accept MasterCard! Worst food experience in PortugalMore

The food is amazing and the staff is super nice. The “gambas à guilho” are a must and the mojitos with champagne are the best on a hot summer night!

Having stopped off briefly from a bus journey over the Tagras Bridge we stepped in here for a snack. English is poor then again my Portuguese is pathetic. Nifty way of menu viewer over a an iPad thingy. Anyway we managed an order. Parotid chips...not what we were expecting but other that that food, service and pricing are good.More

This is a little tapas bar a bit away from the crowded sea front, so you'd expect a bit more quality here. The star is very friendly and welcoming, also professionally trained , so that's for a plus. The food arrived very quickly, we chose...a mixed plate of cold tapas and a few warm dishes. All in all it wasn't bad and we we had a good time but the food was rather average, you.d get the same quality buying tapas plate in the supermarket. The prices are reasonable so it's overall ok, but nothing special and we are not planning to go back.More

We were 2 adults and 1 child visiting and we had been to 6 other restaurants in town and this was without a doubt the worst one. First the one female waiter was pretty rude and not very forthcoming. She came with a tablet as...a menu card without instructions and then it went down and they had to get another one. The tablet menu was with pictures of the dishes but without explanations on what they were comprised of. The food was pretty greasy and with a strange after taste. When we paid out bill wich was pretty OK with the usual standard tip we could hear the female waiter yelling at us when we left with a sarcastic "thank you". Not the best culinary experience in Costa de Caparica.More

I know this place for maybe 35 yeas or so, now under new management this small gem is better than ever. The seafood tapas are to die for, the service is excellent. The price is more than affordable. When I am in vacation, I go...there at least 3 times a week. Great place, can't go wrong. Oh, by the way, the decoration is very "artistic"More
