Visited for lunch and dinner during my Camino Frances in September 2022. The service was very attentive and personalised. Our waitress was a Venezuelan lady who spoke Spanish and Chinese. Fantastic Service!. The food... OMG the Food! - no doubt this was the best place...to eat in town. During weekend they have special dishes.More

Amazing place where to dinner. Real food without pretentious style. Real quality place for a real fare price. Great staff. A restaurant to come back.

This is the second time we’ve eaten here for dinner while on the Camino. They have a Pilgrim’s menu but we ate off the regular menu. Our roasted lamb and grilled squid were delicious. This place gets very busy and Sandra and her colleague were...great. They move quickly to get everyone served. Thanks for a good meal and nice evening. I highly recommend this restaurant fir a great dinner!!More

We got there in a hurry, it was late and they must have been about to close the kitchen. However , the girl welcoming us was not only nice and polite but in a great mood. The service was much better than expected. The waitresses...are all women while there are only men in the kitchen, just the opposite you usually find! Anyway, the food was more than ok for a 12€ menu deal including, starter and main course, with dessert and wine or water. I was highly impressed by this small village restaurant almost in the middle of nowhere but with a crowd to feed and doing it the best way possible.More

I was hungry and couldn't wait for dinner so I had revuelto de morcilla y huevo which is typical dish for region. It was delicious, but that is me coming from country where blood sausages are national dish, I never had blood sausages prepared that...way, I enjoyed it very much.More

Well for mass catering via ‘pilgrims menu’ I guess it was ok. Usual limited choices. 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desert courses. My pasta starter was unfortunately stone cold and meatball main swimming in grease (but piping hot) and fries welded together in huddle....They did go off piste and swap me a nice coffee instead of offered desert. Nice price of 12 euros. Staff very nice, efficient and friendly - decor a bit faceless and functional. Music unnecessary and totally tuneless. Not haute cuisine but filling and tasty. Good refuelling stop.More

don’t stay there. the room was full of ants. i asked to have another room and they said “it’s normal. it’s hormigas”. and they said it was my fault because i ate and they could smell the food. (?!?). i’ve never seen anything like this....awful. not to mention that the walls seem to be falling apart. and the linen is dirty. stay away.More

I had the grilled vegetable plate as as a starter and it was fantastic. Green asparagus, eggplant, zucchini, onion, two types of mushroom, apple, tomato, pumpkin, peppers and lettuce. Great serving size. My partner had ham, eggs and potatoes to start. Generous helping. We both...had fish, sea bream and bass. Both were really good. No desert, no room. Not a place for an intimate dinner but great after walking on the Camino all day. They open early as well.More

While on the camino we stayed in Carrion de las condes for 2 days. We had breakfast and dinner here on both days. We didn't take the pilgrim meal. The Salmon was succulent and the vegetable platter was delicious.

These are the type of things that make very suspicious Tripadvisor. It's difficult to believe the average punctuation of this restaurant is so high. We went warned of tricky business by other people but we wanted lamb and we choose the safest. But disappointment was...very much further tricky behaviour. Lamb was very much fatter than expected. My portion was half of it the neck of the animal. The waitress dictates the dishes, they do not give a menu, so you cannot read the pieces unless you ask. Finally the prices are very high what make the ratio price quality very low. 4 people only 2 starters, one soda, one bottle of water, 3/8 of wine and 4 portions of lamb. 120 €. Without desserts or spirits. Personnel is very correct and kind but this is not enough to delete the feeling of being stolen.More

Having been on a hike for so long, it's been a rarity to come across a restaurant with a delicious and diverse menu. I was pleasantly surprised when I had the tuna, eggplant and pepper salad and even happier when i devoured the garlic prawns!...In addition to all the great food, the staff could not have been any more likeable, creating a great and welcoming environment for any diner. They even helped me with my swollen knees by providing me with numerous ice packs throughout the dinner and ensuring I was doing okay. Really lovely!More

We enjoyed the pilgrim menu here we both had the salmorejo which is just so refreshing when the temperature is in the thirties. For main course we had the cod in tomato with potatoes. This was ok a little bit salty and no veggies. The...service was good and the waitresses friendly and helpful.More

We chose this restaurant on our camino mainly because it was between lunch and dinner time and it offered an all-day pilgrim's menu. The waiter who served us at this quiet time gave us first-class service, describing the menu options with obvious pride and enthusiasm....I ordered the menu while my wife ordered trout. All the food was of an impressive quality at a very reasonable price - so much so that we returned for an early breakfast before the next day's walk.More
