We recently stopped at Fattoria Lavacchio for an olive oil tasting experience and tour during our drive through the Tuscan countryside. It was a very nice experience for our kids and also my wife and I. Tatsu gave wonderful explanations of olive types and harvesting, and we were able to see some of their olive trees. Then we were able to taste, and I never realized how much can be gleaned from tasting a bit of olive oil. It truly made me appreciate the differences in olive oils, and what can be done to change a simple dish with the right oil. I recommend this experience as a nice way to learn about Tuscany, olive oil, and to have fun as a family. Thank you Tatsu!

We were having excellent time in Fattoria Lavachhio. Food was perfect and the staff very friendly. Even we were a party of 14 persons they managed our service in very professional way, especially Francesca(?) knows her job and has a stunning smile. She took good care of us all the way. Food in this place is stunning and mind blowing. Good value for money. Thanks for staff.

We were staying at the agriturismo for 5 nights and ate here three times, twice for dinner and once for lunch. It is beautiful, lovely setting with great authentic Italian food. I had the grilled meats, pizza and pasta over those meals and everything was great. It is a really special place.

This review will be short....Do not miss an opportunity to dine here! All the food originates on the organic farm where the restaurant is located. Everything on the menu is terrific! The pasta, pizza, fish, beef are prepared with love and attention to detail. We loved the truffle and cheese pizza....very gourmet! Desserts are typically Tuscan and the organic wines are yummy!

Make sure you include this restaurant to your Tuscan experience. It would be a shame for you to miss out. Easily some of the best food we have ever experienced. Go just before sundown and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets over the Tuscan hills. I am an accomplished cook myself and quite a foodie and I whole heartedly give my stamp of approval on Mulino a Vento. Spectacular. We stayed at their agriturismo but this restaurant is open for dining to everyone.
